Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya review ( pros and cons)

I have opted for integrated course B.COM.LL.B of 5 years includes 10 semester in total . As a law student it's very difficult as subjects like constitution ,ipc , crpc are the base for any law student . As for ggu they have selected and divided all the subjects per semester is good but for last semester they could have choose some more good subjects related to women. As for teachers and there teaching methods it's good but requires some more specialist teacher for some specific subjects. Frequency of exams is quiet good but maybe it will be difficult for hindi medium student as papers are fully English

In law Mahindra n Mahindra has came for campus and selected 2 or 3 . There are other department which gives you opportunity for internship in various areas like in factories, news agencies etc Still there are lack of campus and internship

I have taken admission in year 2019 at that time per semester fees was 3400 and 2600 respectively, for 5 years total fees was near about 30000 . But in last semester they have hiked the fees without any prior notice from 2600 to 5200. Overall it's a central university as compare to others it has low fees but unnecessary hikes are not acceptable There are various scholarship for reserved category student. Campus selection rate are very low only for some departments like IT department, Physics department, mechanical department etc

University conducts various programmes educational as well as non- educational. Also conduct fests on department basis like every department organize it's own fest ,open for all. It has Central library named as Nalanda Central library has good infrastructure, sitting area Also every department has its own library . Has physical education department separately conducts and participate in various sports activity Ggu has basketball ground, badminton ground cricket ground, football ground etc. Ggu has various clubs such as udaan ( cover entire clg activity and release magazine at end of every year), Abhinartan( dance group), taraang( Music group) chalchitra and urchins ( drama group). All these group helps to enhance the personality and boost confidence.

I have taken admission in 2019 through VET ( Vishwavidyalaya entrance test) got 45th rank in general category. Now Central University takes admission through CUET only. University gives priority to reserved students also have many schemes related to them for more you can visit official websites. Conducts 2 internal in specific time period and end semester exam with moderate difficulty level. Should have more seats for general category students

As a law student studying at law department for years I have come across various things some are good some are bad , the good thing is that at some extent teachers are approachable you can easily go and talk to them about your problem. But somehow law department lacks good teaching staff as there are atleast 5 to 6 subjects in each semester ( total 10 semester) and each n every subject has its own importance and requires specialties in it . Also there are some internal politics which somehow affect the normal student . Overall it's good but need some improvements.
