Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is pretty balanced which provides an altogether concept of engineering related to various fields. The exams occur over a period of about five months. The exam level is quite standard and is decently good for developing the core concepts of engineering.
Internships Opportunities
As I am a first-year student in college, therefore I don't have a lot of knowledge it. But as a 2nd-semester student I have to undergo a summer internship this year beholding a social issue and if possible provide suggestions to resolve it from an engineering perspective.
Fees and Financial Aid
As It is a government college, the tuition fees aren't very high. For me, till now it was Eighteen thousand for the first year. Various scholarships are also available for the financial benefit of the students having the suitable criteria to avail it.
Campus Life
The social life in the college is very good as the college has a lot of clubs for cultivating and enhancing the skills of various students in various fields for instance the college has Music, Dance, Art, Coding, NSS Clubs, etc.
Admission
Admission into the college was through an entrance exam called CEE (known as the common entrance examination). All the details regarding the exam can be found at the official website of ASTU (Assam Science and technology University). The admission process is quite simple and similar to various other entrance examinations through counseling.
Faculty
The facilities are mostly from NITs, most of them have done their masters and some of them have done/are pursuing their PhD from various NITs. They are quite approachable and the teacher-to-student ratio is pretty good
