Honest College Review

As an electronics and telecommunications engineering department student , I personally like the course because for the upcoming generations electronics and telecommunication will be on peak for the upcoming 6G, mobile communications, and many more things, we study about hardware as well as software too like in hardware it's microprocessor, digital circuits, wale lengths , waveforms etc , and in software we study MATLAB, computer Networks, Data structure and Algorithms etc. Exams are relevant to our course so it's easy to get an internship in our field ( electronics) . Teaching method in our college is good only relevant things we got to study rather then other stuffs.

Companies like NRL,ONGC and many software companies offers internships for our students. As an 5th semester students we have to do internships in 6th semester which is an industrial internship. So maybe we got paid there, in 4th semester I've done academic internship where we study many electronics software and components like VLSI,MATLAB, image processing, etc.. Project are like maiking sensors , designing circuits,studying about images ,pixels properties etc which are used in daily basis

By the end years like in 7th semester students get ready for the placements as our teachers prepare well for interviews and stuffs, Many companies like Sony, Wipro, TCS, Barak Brezos and many teach companies came in our camus for placements . The highest package was 15LPA a student got by the under of SONY, Average package was 6LPA ( sorry I didn't know much what the profiles offered by the companies) , percentage of students get placed is 90% rest 10% go for further studies like some is in IITs, NITs and offline Jobs . My plan after getting the degree is to be a full fledge freelance or work for an Company like remote job, apart from college study I'm currently doing Full stack Web Development and Editing. I want to take a good package from outside campus like from outsource now im into open sourse contributions and learning to be more subtle in it .

Currently I'm in 3rd year(5th sem) and this year we'll have to pay maybe 14-18 thousand I'm giving a estimated amount because official notice of admission fee hasn't been declared yet. College takes odd semester admission means we have to pay yearly rather than paying per semester. So the Tution fee is ?1500 Caution fee is ?1200 Registration fee is ?1200 Admission fee is ?100 Lab development fee is ?2000 Maintenance fee is ?500 Library fee is ?1000 College festival fee is ?1500 Security fee is ?1000 This fee takes college from us in every odd semester means yearly fee and this fee is applicable for all my batchmates as well as for all Branches that are present in our college. Talking about the scholarship there is scholarships for students but that are give by our Assam Government although our college itself is a government college.Scholarship like "Ishan Uday", "ONGC" etc..., are provided and our college facilities helps us to get the scholarships.

There are 3 events that our college organised One is annual sports event where both boys and girls even faculties participate on sports to be free with students and everyone enjoys in this event , our college also participate in inter college competition and won a lot in sports overall sports facilities are excellent you got to play volleyball, cricket, football, e-sports etc. Second is TECH EVENT specially for engineers where students got the opportunity to make robots, drons etc and compete each other in this event this event lasts for 4 days in our college. The main fests in our college named "RESPLENDOR" its a very big event for our college and as well as in Barak region , it's a 1 week event where students get to perform dance, singing, etc..in this event many famous singer get invited in our college to perform and have a excellent night together. Yes we do have singing club, debate club, dancing club, videography club for student development. All over college conduct good events

I applied for many college like Assam Engineering college, Jorhat Engineering College and Barak Valley engineering college and i got into BVEC, because my main focus was on two departments first is Computer Science Engineering and the second is Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering . This three colleges provide Electronic department. Yes i did get rejected from both college because my rank was low because I was giving partial drop , i was in a potytechnique before going to B.Tech college. Admission process is easy first they select you and then call for physical verification where they take 6-8 thousand from you and then they call you for final admission where they take 9-10 thousand, to get into this college you must need to conduct COMMON ENTRANCE EXAM(CEE) handles by ASSAM SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY, cut off are is you rank is 2000-4000 your eligible for our college and our college rank is in 4th out of 7 college by the under of ASTU.

The faculties to student ratio is 2:20 . Faculties are approaching to students they want to lean new things experience new things they motivate students alot for their future. Students response are also good many students have passed our from our college and they are in a good position like someone is in IITs doings their M.Tech some are doings good jobs and making a good amount of money. As of now I ( personally) doesn't have any favourite teacher. Neither I dislike any of our teachers we respect them and treat them in a good manner. So, per semester there are 3 exams firstl one is mid semester which is not tough and it has 15 marks second is mid semester same as 15 marks exma . Lastly we have end semester exam which has 100 marks in it. Exams are not stressful,unit and unless we study for that particular exam. What the teachers cover in classes will be on exam. So we don't to worry a about that. Minimum students fail not too much like 40 students in a class 10% students didn't clear
