Remarks

Infrastructure is up to the mark. Both CSE & ETE dept have their own buildini with labs connected with jiofibre for low latency high speed internet connection. Library is available. Sports like cricket and football are played alternate days in the south field of the campus. Boys Hostel and Girls Hostel is present which has an attached Mess with good quality food which charges 2750 per month. Food served by caterer with hygienic environment. The hostel is clean which is cleaned regularly.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm a Undergraduate from CSE because it's the only college in BARAK VALLEY of state government having CS as branch. Teaching quality is up to the mark with teachers using GOOGLE classroom for smooth assignment and notes distribution. Curriculum is under ASTU which is having updated syllabus which makes us ready for industry Internship.

Course Fees: INR 10700 per year

Placement Experience

Being a new college established in 2017, the first batch is yet to pass and Placement are yet to be held. It's having an active T&P Cell working round the clock conducting Training which would held to get a good job.

College Events

The best feature is it's natural beauty with an in campus lake. Though current cuts are regular in summer but the solar panels solves the issues of power cut. Teacher supports us in all fields. Located 15km from Badarpur. It's completely safe and have good facilities to face any emergencies.

Placement Experience:

For Campus placement students become eligible during the 3rd year of their course. Apollo hospitals came for the interview and more than 15 students were offered for placement. My plan is to get a work experience and go for further studies or to work abroad.

Remarks:

The location. It has an epic scenery. U never get bored even if ur outside of the college. There is a lake just on its outskirts which are beleived to be made by the mighty Ahoms who ruled Assam for 600 years. Then there is the Joydol(a temple dated back to the Ahom dynasty).These sceneries tempted me to take admission in this particular college.

Good college. Its the best college near my home. Its graded A by NAAC. This college have good result always under Dibrugarh University. Not so far from my home. A beautiful campas the college have. The college is on the periphery of town. Thats why it has good environment. The students can concentrate in the class. Good facility of toilets. 24×7 hrs water. NIT SILCHAR is one of the technological institutes of national importance established in the year 1950, one of the core learning centre for sciences and technology in north east, gaining spectacular growth in last few years it has secured 10th place out of 31 colleges, having the Asia's largest digital library, your life circle of 7 lives would not be enough to compete all the books, the lush green environment and its location on southern side of kashi hills makes it a magnetic centre for knowledge thus lives. The patron of education and the spice of knowledgeable people from across the country under a 695 acres of land compressing of more than 5000 students is all I can describe my college, words fall short apart. Negative remark as such is its isolation from ROI it takes almost 1½ day to reach West Bengal from Silchar, road connectivity is less and even the climate is unpredictable here the funniest part is I have experienced all 3 seasons in a single day, morning it was raining at afternoon it was sunny and night I was chilled out

Honest College Review

I applied for many college like Assam Engineering college, Jorhat Engineering College and Barak Valley engineering college and i got into BVEC, because my main focus was on two departments first is Computer Science Engineering and the second is Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering . This three colleges provide Electronic department. Yes i did get rejected from both college because my rank was low because I was giving partial drop , i was in a potytechnique before going to B.Tech college. Admission process is easy first they select you and then call for physical verification where they take 6-8 thousand from you and then they call you for final admission where they take 9-10 thousand, to get into this college you must need to conduct COMMON ENTRANCE EXAM(CEE) handles by ASSAM SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY, cut off are is you rank is 2000-4000 your eligible for our college and our college rank is in 4th out of 7 college by the under of ASTU....Read More
