Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I have choosen the Electronics and Communication branch one of the toughest brach in engineering,The sad reality is that everyone are switching to the computer science field and people don't want to attend the core placement . The exams and Lab Practicals are difficult when compared to other branches every month end we get to attend our internals and for every 4 months we have to attend our semester exam

Internships Opportunities

3.5

In every section of class they select a Placement Co-ordinator I'm the placemt co-ordinator of our class .As i know here are many comapnies offering internships for the students in 4th sem only both in resarch and development as well as in tech team also

Placement Experience

5

The only reason people join for the BMSCE is for the reason of placements we get internshi's around 5th sem whereas we get placement when we are around 7th sem in the better package,we get wide range of companies offering good packages

Fees and Financial Aid

Being the top college we get easily the bank education loan and the tution fee when we come through KCET is around 100000 whereas when we come through management it's very expensive, and the hostel fee is also expensive it's arround 2,30,000

Campus Life

4

The socila life in our college is good the students in this college are from all over with different states and differsnt culture and wide range ogf fests arranged by the college gives the opportunites to open up with with students and enjoy a lot being in this college...

Hostel Facilities

4

Staying in hostel is the best decision I have taken because in PG's the food is not even hygine or it might be difficult to get adjust for many students,Staying in hostel is expensive but when it come's too the food it totally justifies. In hostel they have seperate events that will have lot of fun we coud enjoy there also its fells like a private party

Admission

There are 2 mode of admission: 1.KCET 2.Management The kcet cutoff is around 6k for ECE where as it have different criteria's and sceneraio's depending upon the cast region and other reservations whereas the management fee is expensive and no criteria's

Faculty

3

The facculties are good they help us in making mini-projects and helps us to understand the reality of industrial model, how the things go and even helps us to suggest courses to study . When it come to syllabus its feels out dated,They try to cover the syllabus as fast as can irrespective of understanding abilities of the students. The college even provides us a personalized faculty called Proctor where we could go and share our problems or quires regarding placements or studies whereas they have direct contact with the parents. Any mischevious things done by students would be helped to give information with the help of proctor

Other Applied Colleges

Vellore Institute of Technology - [VIT University] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electrical and Electronics Engineering)

When compared to VIT, BMS has a better campus placement and a open culture for choosing the internships and job offers. VIT may have a bigger campus but whereas its campus placement and the ratio or the criteria for choosing doesn't favours the children i

The curriculum is fairly relevant and covers both theoretical and practical concepts needed for academics and basic industry knowledge. Some subjects are updated according to current trends, but adding more industry-oriented projects and practical exposure would make it even better.
