My college Shaheed Bhagat Singh College ( Morning). The experience is good in terms of the marks which I got according to the cuet score.
The college acquires with GCR( Girls common room ) which gives a girls added advantage. There are almost 30-40 societies in our college

Dislikes

The biggest disadvantage of our college is attendance issue. As it is the rule of University to get 66.67%

Course Curriculum Overview

I have choose this course because of my deep interest in political science . The curriculum of our course is up to date wherw you will get the comprehensive knowledge about the subject with additional advantage as it is asked in the upsc cse. The course could be improved in the field of more practical side such as attaching the students with a political parties or election rallies will give a deep insight in students mind. The difficulty level of the paper is medium as pyq became the backbone of the exams so it is not that much difficult.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of my course is 13305 which is very less as compared to any private college and the level of education is far good. The college gives the scholarship notification in which the total fees is deducted to a certain amount so no issues in that you have to fill that particular form

Campus Life

Overall my experience is mixed you will get the lot more thi gs to know . The college library is very good where you get the lots of book to read. The ground is pretty big and you will get all the equipment related to the sports .

Admission

You have to clear the cuet examination and I scored around 717 marks to get this college. If you are general then minimum score should be above 710 to get admission in this college out of 800. You have to fill the csas form of du after giving of the cuet exam

Faculty

See for example my international relations professor studied from the school of international studies JNU that is the topmost school of IR in our country. So the level of teachers qualifications is very excellent. As a fellow student the interaction between student and professor is not a big issue in our college.

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option
