In between this exams and labs there is a lack of cultural programs
There are low possibility for other cultural activities like drawing dancing and musics

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course provided is btech , mca and architecture by KTU University and is a relevant course in kerala . There are add on options for cse like data science and Ai and there are btech in EC, eee, civil, mech, etc. I got the course based on my rank.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 75000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship are promoted here . They will guide us to get internships in companies and will suggest to try in big companies even if the chances are low . Companies like camery did provided some internships, and the rest will be according to us .

Placement Experience :

There are several companies visiting our collage for placement . And there is a placement cell who train us for the placement and interviews . They will guide us from the sem 1 itself . Even though not everyone is getting placed ; placement is not low

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

So the fee structure depends upon your quota . If you are a merit students the fee structure for 2 sem is 75k .And if you are in management seat it depends upon course and your keam rank .For btech cse management fees is 1.25 lakh per year

Campus Life :

The infrastructure of the collage is pretty average but not a old collage . And collage includes somany clubs like ieee , iedc , roadsafety and all . Sports and arts are not well encouraged here . But still u can participate if u are interested.

Hostel Facilities :

First year has a seperate hostel . Hostel is inside the collage campus . Hostel room consist of 3 people and they collect 2000 rupees per month for room rent. Mess bill will vary according to how much you eat.

Hostel Fee : INR 2000 per year

Admission :

I entered scms using my keam rank . I got a merit seat in btech datascience course with around a rank of 23000 in general category. You can also enter in management and NRI seats where there will be criteria in +2 qualification

Faculty :

Faculties are well qualified and are interactive to students. They provide pdf notes and presentation classes which is quite helpful . There are enough staffs for the strenght of students in the collage and they are here for any help.

Campus is choosen wisely

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually the university curriculum is bit old fasion.Like the technology is a way head of the things that we are studying in the sessions.But the basis are well learned from it.The improvement we need in that is that to get out of the instituion as a proffesional that can handle the new technolgy that the real world work in.The curriculum is need to improve so much as per the technology improves the students want to know what all changes that are happening in the real world and they want to be trained according to that.

Placement Experience:

Our campus placement will begin from 7th semester. From 5th semester onwards college will provide training for placements and we have placement cell for this. An average LPA of 5 is provided from our college. Good amount of companies visit our campus for placement and we also get oppertunity to go for off campus placement

Placement Experience:

In the 7th and 8th semesters, the students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys, and Spyridian, are the companies that often come for placements .3 -4 lakhs is the highest package given by these companies.The percentage of students getting placement is about 50-70. My plan is to go for higher studies or to go for a job.

SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
