- Rent of hostels is little more it may be reduced to some extent. We can't go to other hostel.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have choose this course for my better future and main reason for choosing Chitkara is for their 100% placement. They provide very extra curriculum courses and their are various clubs where you can enhance your ability for dor doing work with team.This course made us to meet with real life practicals. Their exam pattren is great, here they are taking 3 mid sessnal test and 1 End term examinations. There gave us vrious projects to make whether it is software project or hardware project. They prepare us for future.
Internships Opportunities
They provide various facilites for interenships.there are many companies came to chitkara university for taking away students for internships and placements. The average stipend that is provided to students that are taken away for chitkara is 6LPA. Companies took students as interns first at that time they get an average package of 6LPA. Some of the companies are: HDFC, Infosys, Bajaj, Tech Mahindra, IBM, Pfizer, Zomato, OYO, Tata, and many more companies.
Placement Experience
After clearing 5 semesters students are elegible for for campus placements. More than 600 companies visited Chitkara University in year 2023. The most popular recruiters are Amazon, Ashoka LeyLand, Finolex. Intershala, OYO, TCS, Infosys, Mahindra, Accenture, Bajaj, Paloalto and many more number of companies visited every year. From batch of 1600 students 350+ students offered their super dream job with package of abbove10LPA, 250+ students offred their dream job with package of 8LPA. Other students get placed at very good companies as techinical or non-techinival jobs.With average package pf 6LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is constant for a particular batch. That is for the BE CSE students for 2023-2027 the tution fee was 1,00,000 and it will remain same for this batch till completion of degree. As they increase tution fee every year. Now for batch 2024-2028 the tution fee is 1,20,000 for BE CSE.
Campus Life
Classrooms are fully AirConditionered , comfortable seats, 3 white boards, and projector for studying virtually by making concept clear by seeing videos and practical project that are made using coding. Sports facilities are very good here, there are many soprts,like cricket, badminton, chess, foosball, basketball, handball, skating.Students go for tournaments and always win.There are many clubs that are run by students.
Hostel Facilities
Facilities in room are changed according to room. But the room I am having. That is 4 seater AC room with attached washroom. Facilities provided in hostel are: 4 times meal, 24/7 AC, 24/7 electricity facility, Lift section for students use, also included laundry and mess. Quality of mess food is hygenic they serve different kind of food all days of week. That food consists of calcium, protiens, fibers and other nutrients. Menu is decided according to season and avaliabilty of things.
Admission
Eligibility of the course: Passing 10+2 with minimum aggregates of 60% with science stream i.e. (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) or a student having maths as optional subject in 10+2 with subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and optional maths. There also required Enterance examination. It is necessary to appear for entarance exam named as JEE mains. The students with more than 2 year gap are not allowed for admission. Their application fomr can be find at google bu searching with name of chitkara university registeration. There you find a lot of options of graduations programees. You will go BE and select CSE option that is too with AI or without AI. The fee of application is very reasonable thau us between 1000-1500 only. the application is opened after first attempt of JEE Mains and it is open till mid of May. the admission procedure is that they will mail you that you are elegible or not , if you are elegible they will call you chandigarh for further process of admission......
Faculty
Faculty members are highly qualified. All faculty have PHD in their respective feild. They are having experince of minimum10 years and some of them are having experience of more than 10 years. The teacher student ratio is very decent. There is 1 teacher per 80 students. The staff is very understanding and decent.
