Likes

Infrastructure is really impressive as compared to other DU colleges.
Teachers and principal are really indulged in student development and creating better environment for students.
Our college has a massive ground and fully air conditioned libraries.

Dislikes

College canteen has pathetic and unhygenic food.
Sports is not much encourged and even the sports room doesn't have accurate sports equipments.
Their is a girls common room but no such room is available for boys.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course which is bachelor of commerce (B.com) helps to understand real life compilations and helps to solve real life problems related to business and finance. By studying Bcom one can get knowledge of business which helps youth in startups and to work efficiently.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 31000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Various companies visit our college and offer placements. Some of the prestigious companies such as delloite give placements as well as internships. Their are various internship drives for students in 2nd year as well as 3rd year

Placement Experience

Our college has a placement cell which helps the students to know about their eligibility in doing internships and jobs. Students can do internships from their 2nd year of course. There are various no. Of companies visited and the minimum package being 2-3lac per annum. Minimum 50-60% students get placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is very affordable as it is a government college. The fees starts from 7825 in first year of bcom program and increases to 10000 in second year whereas it goes up to 14605 in third year. There are various scholarship programs for several students. Talking about campus employment opportunities, there are many opportunities and internships as well.

The college is culturally diverse so there are many cultural fests being organised in the college. Whereas the college has a library which has many books and has a good library staff. The college even has a computer lab which helps the students to practice their practical subjects in the lab. There are various college societies inclunding drama society singing soceity and NSS as well as NCC. The college has a massive ground which has a basketball court.

Admission

I took admission in 2021, the admission process was fully dependent on merit score and percentage. I had 92.8% in my 12th class and got admission in the 4th admission cycle. The cutoff of this college is pretty high as it is a profound college. The admission process was fully online so i made easier for students to apply for admission.

The college faculty is very nice. They help students to study by encourging them and teaching them new skills. The teachers of our college are highly qualified and disciplined. They're always puncutal for class.

Things you should know about Mata sundri college, DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

My liking for accepting influenced my decision to choose b.com hons . The curriculum prepares well for real world applications however I think that work on field give more knowledge. Teachers should teach with real life case studies and examples rather than with the bookish theories. The exam are not that though if you had go through the whole syllabus for once (nicely) you can pass the exam with good marks .

I have chosen B.Com with Economics as my course.Because I have done 11-12 from commerce site and I am interested in commerce subjects like accounts, economics.The problems that occur in this subject It takes some time to understand this.You have to study in the right way and take classes.Most importantly, if you want to score good marks in the exam, then you should not skip any exam, be it theory or internal assessment.In this field you can make your future in the lines of accounting economist, otherwise this course is the best according to me and I like it.And if you go ahead and do higher studies in this also Like you can do higher studies in accounting line Due to which your knowledge will increase further.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teaching method of the teachers are the best and their no need to change but some teachers take less time and finishes important topic so they can teach more. The life you should live in college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is thorough and pertinent, in my opinion. I chose this course because it helps me understand real-world business situations by covering both the theoretical and practical aspects of commerce, such as accounting, economics, and business law. The subjects are helpful for both real-world employment and future studies like an MBA or CA. Although the course prepares us well, it could be enhanced by including more hands-on learning opportunities, internships, and professional guest lectures. To make lessons more interesting, teachers can employ more interactive techniques like group discussions and digital resources. Exams are scheduled appropriately, but occasionally the timetable feels constrained and leaves little time for review. The exam is at a moderate level and assesses more than just memorisation; it tests our comprehension of subjects.

I personally preferred an evening college compared to the off campus colleges nd somewhere i feel that my descision was correct. In future I'll be preparing for government examinations so for that matter evening timings are better for me as compared to morning. According to the scores which i got, this is the best college I could get and m very much happy about it. Being in the evening shift i made freinds from the morning shifts as well and at the end i realized that it's all same. Admission in Delhi University is purely merit based of CUET. One can take admission in this college by writing CUET exam and scoring certain marks for it. The application process was long and thorough. Select a cource, fill credentials, write CUET, and score good marks then prepare the preference list rightly and you'll get college based on your marks. My whole college tour

According to the 12th board result, a cutoff list was released on the university's website. By seeing those cutoff student need to fill form for tha partcular college which is available on the college's website and submit that form to the college. There is a information brochere available on college's website through which they can know about fees, last date, courses etc. Every colleges provides reservations for SC,ST,OBC,EWS and for girls, which you can know by reading that brochere. Because its a admission through cutoff, you need to be early bird to take admission to the college as seats are limited, cutoff may fluctuate etc. There is huge no of student apply for these college so its better you try to get as early as possible....Read More
