Remarks

Nothing in particular but in general professionalism and global outlook is a backbone for any national level college and hence this college also needs lots of improvements in this area.

Entrance Preview

BCECE I chose this college because of proximity with my hometown as well as because out of the available colleges according to my rank this was one of the better ones.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was definitely good as good as any other. General discipline and logical course structure was a definitely good thing. Faculty were mixed I can say some were very good and some average.

Internships Opportunities

There was no stipend offered but the college helped in getting the internship at a local industry which was a manufacturing unit and it was enough for me to feel happy about.

Placement Experience

Placement is managed by students driven placement committee it is like in any other college. I would say transparency level is a challenge there is scope of improvement in that area.

College Events

There is an annual tech fest which is a national level event. Then there are so many other events happening every year being conducted by departments it is a happening place in that aspect.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Earlier and in our batch fee was very less later on it kept rising after being aligned with other NITs and national institutes still I don't think the cost is too high for the std of teaching.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships from college are not great and loan from banks would depend on your individual efforts.

Campus Life

It is a happening place since people from different states come in to join it is an enjoyable experience. I am sure everyone loves it. It is an experience of a life time.

Hostel Facilities

Old hostels were not in good shape mess was really a mess food was not good but recently there are new hostels which have come up and these are good.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is very strong but there is a need to engage them this is an improvement area still a lot of alumnus stay connected and come to visit the college.

Exam Structure

Semester based and then there are class tests and viva and other things teachers have freedom to define structure the internal portion of it while semester exams cover the rest.

The placement performance in my college is average few student get decent placement otherwise many sales company come and took the student .Around 30 percent student in my class got placement by college other strudents get placed by thereselves there is no role of placement and training department in this.

Shaping My Future: A Comprehensive Review of College Life and Academics

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester companies started coming and there is different criteria for different companies like some company have criteria for more then 8.5 cgpa will be able to seat only in their placement conducting it is totally based on company preferences. The highest package was 9 lpa and average package was 3 lpa. Around 60 percent student get placed in my department.

Companies started coming around 7 th semester there is different criteria for different companies like you have more tan nine cgpa then you are eligible for that particular company. Around 50 percent people in my class get placed . Companies like TCS ,wipro EY are mass hiring company.

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

My Honest Review For Nit Durgapur

Placement Experience:

Yes our college offers campus placements.Students from 4th year are eligible for campus placements.Many reputed nation and international companies like microsoft,Wipro,TCS, Infosys and many more companies offrers placement every year in this college. arrording to 2025 deta overall placement rate was 82 percent, Highest packege was 80 lpa and average packege was 12.6lpa. My only plan to get a good placements.

If you can't get campus placement , there is a high probability if you can apply for any job outside campus and you have relevant skills you can get it . Placement Experience:

Here students become eligible to sit in campus placement from 6th semester. Many companies come here. The average package here is 5 lakhs and the highest here is 20 lakhs it's gone.Here 95% of the students get placement.My plan is to do M.Tech after completing my degree.

I think this was the best college onmy rank. I applied to IIEST Shibpur and was getting ECE there but I chose this college because of its brand name, infrastructure and placement which are all way above shibpur. No I did not get any rejection form college I applied for.
