The course is too up to date, they teach most of the important concepts like programming, DSA, and AIML and create a strong base for you to build a bright future. Although, the timetable sometimes might get hectic but it is not that big of an issue.

Different companies start coming to Thapar for internships in the summer break and offer 2nd and 3rd-year students. Also, you can do projects under the guidance of faculties in summer break. So internship exposure is pretty good here.

Placements in thapar are pretty good, it has an average package of 10-12 lacs per annum. Companies like Apple, Jp morgan, salesforce visit here every year. Highest packages of 50-70 lacs are common here. Almost 80-90% students get placed.

Studying in thapar is a bit expensive, its fee increases annually by 10%. Complete BE degree from thapar would cost around 30 lacs. It also has different types of scholarship though for students who scored high in JEE, for students who scored high in semester exams, and many more.

Main cultural fest of thapar is Saturnalia which is held in last week of november every year, we also have urja our sports fest which happens in 3rd week of february. Facilities in thapar are excellent you have one of the biggest libraries in India, best devices in labs. Also extracurricular here in thapar is very good you have different societies which have there different events every semester, so one can get full exposure in thapar.

Hostels are very good, regular cleaning. Although the laundary is not the best i would say but its ok. Mess food is good and eatable. Menu is quite versatile as it has all kind of foods, so students from different parts of India dont have any problem here.

Eligibility for thapar is basically you should have passed your class 12th and given that years JEE and you can take admission on the basis of either one. Faculties in thapar are top-notch they are from iits and iims so they know what they are teaching. You can interact with teachers everyday they are very cooperative and friendly. You can even do project under there guidance which help you grow academically.
