Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have choosen this course not because of curriculum but I was interested in this field. This prepare student for the real world applications by equiping them with analytical problem solving and critical thinking skills. The curriculum often includes opportunities for research and internships allowing students to gain practical experience and explore potential carrier paths. Overall the curriculum aims to produce graduates who are well prepared for both real world challenges and advance academic study in physics. Improvement in the course curriculum could include increase hands on laboratories sessions and introducing modern experimental techniques can better alliance student scale with industry needs and facilitate a smoother transition to research and professional roles. Our college conduct mid term exams held half wave through the semester or terms followed by the end of semester of final exams. We get less time to prepare for main exams according to length of the curriculum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Last year, my juniors paid 36000 for the same course as mine And we have paid 22000 . And we have to pay 2000 in every semester as the exam fee. Also, we have to contribute for various small fests and functions held in the department and college altogether. Our college gives scholarships to students on the basis of category and those who have certain disabilities. So I have not undertaken any job roles and have not been awarded any stipends yet .

Campus Life

4

The name of our college fest is Manjari and it was held in the month of march. Our library has availability of wide range of books and journals. Some classrooms are equipped with smart boards and also laptops are provided in our department so that students not have to purchase their own. We have 2 computer labs. We have sports complex in our college. For ECA ,our colleges has services like NCC,NSO and NSS. There are many types of societies so students can chose in which they are interested like dance womens development cell, singing classical etc. Overall we are experiencing a good balanced campus life.

Admission

Firstly we gave the CUET. I am from 2022 passout so we are first batch who gave cuet for the first time. Then we have applied in CSAS portal which was organised by DU itself. All these details about application fee and form are available on the site. Also there are reservation benefit while taking admission in DU. The level of exam was also difficult.

Faculty

4.5

There are 4000+ girls in the college and approx. 150+ teachers . Now if I talk about my department so there are 8 professors and approx. 150 students . They have completed their PhDs and atleast they 5+ experience of teaching. Also we have activity period in which we have assigned professors as mentors and they guide us in that time. Also we have 4 lab staffs members who take care of apparatus of experiments.

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.
