Likes

I liked the infrastructure of the college as it has decent classes
Placement at mnnit allahabad is very good they provide 80% placement in recession also.
Third thing I liked is about the professors of this college are well qualified and helpful

Dislikes

Attendance criteria is 75% and we have to maintain it otherwise we will get a short attendance notice
Mess of the college is also not so good especially for non vegetarians as all the mess in this college do not make any non vegetarian food
Girls hostels are very far from boys hostels and boys are not allowed to go there

Course Curriculum Overview

Mnnit applied NEP(new education policy 2020) from year 2022. Till now course curriculum has been working fine but there are some flaws in this curriculum because academics become more hectic. And some new courses have been introduced.

Internships Opportunities

Mnnit provides very good internship opportunities. All the multi-national companies visit mnnit for internships like -Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, Oracle etc in the core there is good no. Of visited companies like Psu, Bajaj.

Placement Experience

The placement at MNNIT is too good with an average package of 20 lakhs per annum before the recession time but now it has been decreasing to 15 lakh per annum after recession also college provides good placement and internship opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for general candidates is 98000(tuition fee+hostel fee) and 25000 mess fee in all the mess (but the amount which is left at the end of the semester is returned to the respective bank account of the student). For those having income less than 1 lakh per year, they do not have to pay any tuition fee the same applies to Sc St and pwd students

Campus Life

In Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology of Allahabad there are four active clubs namely Aeroclubs, Astro clubRobotics Club and the coding club they have good achievements too. There is also one very active and globally recognised SAE club which is the Mechanical Department club. they have also various cultural committees like the Bengali committee, Bhangra committee etc for dance.

Hostel Facilities

There are four hostels for boys and 2 hostels for girls for boys first year hostel is SVBH which is one of the best hostel with best facilities with proper room cleaning and mess quality is average. In 2nd year there are two hostel that is tilak hostel and Patel hostel which is an average hostel mess food of these hostels sufficient to keep you alive in third year we have malviya and Tondon which is again an average hostel and in final year there is a new hostel which is best of mnnit.

Hostel Fee: INR 24000 per year

Admission

Admission to mnnit is through Jee Mains those students are qualifying Jee Mains exam with at least 90 percentile (based on category) to get Admission to mnnit. In Admission there are too many forms related to prohibited vehicles and sports activity form has to be filled which is hectic.

Faculty

Faculty members are highly qualified they have good rank world wide in their domain .They have more than 10 year of experience but some professors are very strict and do not put much effort in teaching

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are average and the students get decent packages. Students are eligible for the placements from the very beginning from the 7th semester. The companies visiting hbtu are samsung, exxonMobil, TCS, FMCG, IBM, Hindustan Unilever, Global Logic, Adobe, Paytm, HCL technologies, Nestle, Asian Paints, Britannia and Dabur etc. The highest placement was 32 lpa while the average was 7 lpa last year . Last year almost 75% of the students were placed. My plans are to take a good placement from the college and side by side i'm working on my startup idea as well .

Placement Experience:

Usually after 3rd sem, students star getting internships. And for compaines visiting our college, except amazon (they blacklisted us). Almost every top companies do visit the college. Highest package was 59LPA, and the average for cse is 12-13Lpa. 99% students get placements. Many students goes abroad for mtech after graduating from snu, i'd like to do the same but after getting a year or two job experience.

the college is good and affordable fees for all

the placement of college is good because mid of 7th semester company visit in a campus and many comapnies are come in college like maruti suzuki, TATA, HERO motors,schlumberger ,crompton,tricolite ,cummins ,etc 40-50 company visit in campus and the heighest package is 12lpa and lowest is 3.6 lpa and the student have 60% in average of all 6 semester and 90% student have placed after the degree my plan is a good rank in GATE and masters from IIT colleges

MNNIT- A path to Bright Future

One of the important reasons for choosing this college is because of its unique and brilliant placement records. and also it is one of the best NIT in North. Basically I want a college that is not much distant from my state Haryana and should be good also and this alligns perfectly with my scenarios. Talking about the admission process, first you have to clear JEE Mains with a good rank like for CSE your rank be between 1K to 9K . If you want to take admission in this college irrespective of any branch you rank should be under 30K. But this data is not fixed , it changes every year depending on the difficulty level of JEE Mains. and then apply for the JOSSA councelling and there you can keep this college in your choice an dif your rank is good enough, you will get it. Know about MNNIT Allahabad/ NIT Allahabad

With my jee mains rank which was 5000 and along with ews I had two options to choose from... One was NIT Trichy with ece branch and one was NIT Allahabad or MNNIT Allahabad with cse branch. But I have hard that ECE branch is tough in terms of academic as compared to CSE branch.. and also NIT Allahabad was very much mear to my home state that is Bihar. So I considered NIT Allahabad over NIT Trichy. Package was also I reason that I considered while choosing between these two.
