Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum is fairly relevant amd covers key fundamentals with enough practical work to build real world skills, though some subjects need deeper hands on focus. It prepares you well if you stay consistent. Exams are regular, moderate in difficulty and easy to clear with steady study.

Internships Opportunities

5

Internships are available grom the 6th semester, mainly in IT, engineering and management roles. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Tech Mahindra offer roles in software development, testing, and analysis, often with a stipend. Projects include app development, data anayand process optimization, giving practical exposures, or work solutions that add to professional experience.

Placement Experience

5

Students become eligible for placement from the 6th semester, and a mix of IT, consulting and service based companies visit with multiple entry levels offers. The students also get to apply to a degree that will be available for them in a specific area placed. My plan after the degree is to focus on implementing my skills and aim for better opportunities outside campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Galgotias university offers a solid environment for students who want modern infrastructure and a supportive academic setup. The campus is well maintained, classrooms and las are updated, and the university provides plenty or opportunities through clubs, events and workshops. Many students benefit from the strong industry connections, especially in tech branches, and placementsare good for those who stay consistent with their skills. Overall, it's good place for motivated students who want a balanced mix of academics, exposure, and campus life.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is decent with cultural and technical fests, and there is no need for the students who are college district or other government and students groups keep the social environment engaging and lively.

Admission

I choose this college because the campus, fees and placement support felt better than the other options i got. I had offers from a fem private college but found this one more balanced. I missed higher tier colleges due to cutoffs. Admission was simple meet eligibility, submit marks, and get shortlisted

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio is decent and most teachers are approachable if you ask doubts outside class, through teaching quality various some are clear and practical while others rely too much on slides. The course structure is mostly updated and relevant, with theory labs and projects that give a solid base but still require self learning. Exams follows a simple pattern of internals, mid terms and finals and the difficulty is moderate so regular students pass comfortably while last minute preparation usually leads to trouble.

Night Life

5

Nightlife on campus is quiet hostels and cafeteria close yn 10-11 PM and the hostels have been open since I got there last year so I'm pretty excited. Popular hangouts off campus include local malls and eateriyin Greater Noida, which are generally safe to visit in small groups.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good enough for those who did well in academics and skills, they mostly provide the developer job with some specialization jobs. The placement cell management is very messy so it's very complicated process. And also it's depends on the market conditions also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I always wanted to be an Engineer. And had a keen interest in programming languages. It always fascinated me that we can write code and make the computer work the way we desire. This has endless possibilities for application. Since I am from the CSE department. I would say in the Batch 2015-19 around 180 student were there divided into 4 sub sections. As It would not be possible to manage the number at once. So for each subject there are dedicated faculties which belongs to the department but there are certain subjects which were common to other department so other department teachers also used to teach CSE students. Most of the teachers had qualifications as Master of their subjects. Tech qualified. Only a few of the teachers were Ph.D. qualified. The teaching method of the First & second-year faculties was very good. They focus on leaning of students but in the third and fourth years teaching faculties don't pay that much attention to the student. Students have to rely mostly on self-studies.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students get eligible for the placements. Many companies visit the college including PalaoAlto, Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, HCL, and many others. The highest package offered this year was about 11 lakhs and the average is 4lakh. Nearly 60% of students get placed. I plan to have a decent campus placement after completing my course with the guidance of faculties and then learn further and switch companies as per my learnings.
