Likes
- I like how the professors at BMSIT are really good at teaching.They know thier stuff and make interesting.They are open for doubts all the time. They are also friendly and easy to talk to. They are highly qualified.
- BMSIT offers exciting oppurtunities like hackathons and internship. Every month college do 2-3 college level hackathons. The internship stats are really good. Out of 780 students around 650 got internship.
- The Campus is good and around 25 acre. The infrastructure of college is good and they are building a new block that is very big and have all facilities from canteen,sports to lab.
Dislikes
- We do not have good infrastructure for sports. The college ground is short and is not maintained. The college gym is overcrowded and does not have good equipments and is not maintained well.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is up-dated. They are made to prepare for real-world beside academic studies. The skill lab that is started from 2023 is made solely for the practical uses of application that we have studied so far. The improvements should be done in timetable that is starts from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM; It really exhauts the students.
Internships Opportunities
the internship opportunities available through college is very low. the college tells us to get internships through internshala and there are almost no college provided internship opportunities. that is all that i have for internship news
Placement Experience
From 3rd Semester end ,students are eligible for campus placements.Many MNC visited our college like microsoft and goldman sach. Phonepe made 6 offers for more than 20 LPA. The Highest Package in 2023 was 46 LPA and average package in ISE was 9.55 LPA. Around 95% students got placed. In 2023 1100+ offers made for 780 students .
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees depends upon admission quota.In KCET, The tuition fee is around 1.74 LPA and in comedk the fees is around 2.77 LPA. Each year tuition fee increases by 20k.The university fees for 1st year is around 12k additionally .
Campus Life
College held a college fest once a year.The hostels also held a hostel fest every year.The college held Hackathons every months and held a technical fests twice or thrice a year. Library is quite big and include every subject books for every departments . The classroom has a greyboard and one projector screen for projections. There is so many clubs that is run by the students such as GDSC,IEEE .
Hostel Facilities
There is 3 hostel blocks A,B and C. The C blocks is for NRI . They offers double and triple room with bathroom attached . the meal is good and typically have non-veg twice a week.The registerations for hostel is done on hostels only
Admission
You should have got above or equal to 60% in class 10 and 12th. You can get admission through KCET and COMED-K. You can get application forms in thier official sites The application fees for comedk is 18k.There is no reservation in comedk.This exam is quite easier than JEE.The Cutoff for BMSIT ISE is around 6.3k
Faculty
Every batch is around 64 students. For Every batch around 2 subject faculty is provided.The faculty is highly qualified and has done thier master and phd form IITs. They know how to teach and open for doubts. They provide Valuable lesson
Interview Experience
there were no dicussions or interviews or any form of written test for students taking admission through comedk quota. although the students taking admission through other ways may have other processes
