Course Curriculum Overview

We got the same subjects which we have studied in the last class as we know in 12th. After 1st semester the subject were started changing as we know and there we get one of the main subjects by our choice and we can take forward according to that and in every semester we got extra subjects like communication skills & tally and other software were also thought and we also got linkdin certification course by the college

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of our course is might be simmer from other college also but the there we have options of scholarships also we can take through cucet exam you can clear that online exam and evil for the scholarship. But you have to mention 8 cgpa to continue the scholarship next semester if you want otherwise you scholarship will be canceled and also get scholarship by the government

Campus Life

Overall campus were awesome we love the structure and enjoy overall experience but the campus for the courses of BBA and B. Com & M.com students were not good they are out of the main campus were we cannot enjoy as the main campus were having lot of fun. They were many of the clubs were you can enjoy the everything

Admission

You can take direct admission by submitting your required documentation or you can give examination on CUCET also where you get scholarship which you can take benefits by giving online exam at your home and u an archive concession in fee structure

The faculty members were very cooperative you can enjoy their presence and teaching experience they help us lot in every things as we can ask about anything. But some were not good as we know everywhere some of them were are of rude behaviour. They mark us absent if you came 5 minutes late in class. Then things were the issue

THE LIFE AT DAV COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We do have a training and placement cell which is run mostly run by both students and teachers. Students with good percentile can sit for placements and can get place into companies which are mostly from BPO and sales background. Students are eligible for campus placements in their 5th semester. Companies which have came in our college in 2024-2025 are Sri ram insurance , Kotak insurance , Planet spark , De shaw , Zomato etc. Highest package offered is around 5 LPA and average package is around 1.5 LPA. I have planned to go for higher studies after my graduation, most probably I will be doing MBA.

I chose the course B.Com (hons in finance and accounting). Look teachers will reach you the syllabus bit the rest you have to cover your all. For that library and computer facilities would be given to you. The library contains a lot of books which you can refer for extra material.

Placement Experience:

You are eligible for placement after you 4th semester , They will also provide you noc if required for your placement, they actually dont have good companies I personally didn't went for placement because i have some other plans but some of my friends were there for placement, and from them I came to know that the companies are offering only 20-25 k month and on a remorte location, according to me which is not sufficient . Percentage of students got placements were around 50%. My plan after degree is that i am opting MBA because bcom hons is not such a huge degree that you will get good income from that only ,so if you want to boostup you career I suggest you must go for atleast MBA.

A Memorable Experience

I chose chandigarh university because of its academic excellence. It is NAAC A+ college and also one of India's leading top private universities. It provides its students with large number of opportunities.. It has industry industry-oriented curriculm. Excellent placement records , one of my batchmates got place din PayPal with the package of 34 LPA. It has smart campus and infrastructure. Libraries are fully equipped with modern facilities and overall this university provides good exposure. Apart from Chandigarh University, i also applied for CSE in GNDU, Amritsar.
