Life at GECT

The production engineering is one of the best course.But the faculties are not enough working for the better achievements.There are labs which is useful to learn things better.Subjects are really interesting.

It is less compared to other departments.But from this year onwards,as we can sit in the internship and interview of Mechanical Engineering,we may get more opportunities for a better job and life.Equivalency certificate is given as production is a sub in Mechanical engineering.

We have 96500 per year.So we have to pay that much fees.And ofcourse we have a lot of scholarships to which we can apply and only one scholarship could be applied and received.Employment opportunities are also high.Even we can sit for Mechanical Engineering placement as we get the equivalency certificate.

This is the best campus life I've ever heard and seen off.Even my seniors tell we won't get such a college life anywhere other than GECT.We have the complete freedom.Seniors are like friends.There is zero ragging and clubs makes us enhance our technical skills.

Hostel Fee is 3k.They don't provide us food.So extra cash should be spend for food.Rent only is the cash we get.Wr have a room in which three students are accomodated and it consists of bathroom.We have seperate study area also.A security also has been provided.

I have got a rank of 19k.And the cut off for production engineering in this college was about 25k.I joined this college in the second allotment in which total three allotments were there.The admission aspects I didn't like was the rush.It was too hot and the same time people were rushing which made difficulty in admission.

Most of the teachers are well dedicated and gives us more practical classes so that we can understand the concepts more.But some faculties takes classes for the sake of money only.Not at all dedicated and even they donot complete the syllabus.
