Course Curriculum Overview

The course Data Science is quite interesting and promising for the future. In this course , giving Gate exam is a good choice for career. The course has a separate subject for aptitude. Overall the course has good scope in future..

Placement Experience

The placement here is average. For my course, the first batch of the course is still in 3rd year so no placement data is available. GATE exam is a very good option for this course as this course is new so it has not much competition and thus students can get psu placements through gate.

Fees and Financial Aid

The institute fee is 112000. The hostel fee is 65000.Tgere is a scholarship for OBC,SC,ST and other state students. There is one more policy, if you clear any national level exam , they will return or remitt 50-100% of your exam expenditures.

Campus Life

The college has singing club , photography, dance club, lit club etc. Sports opportunity is good here. We can go for inter college sports competitions. Insight is the cultural fest and technex is technical fest of our college.

Hostel Facilities

There is one almirah , table , chair and bed in each room. The quality of room is average. The food quality is very bas. Hostel is affordable but there are many meaningless rules like switch off the light after 10 PM. Intime is very less (6PM). The hostel often keeps taking fine for silly things.

Hostel Fee: INR 65000 per year

Admission

The institute takes admission on the basis of jee and MHTCET. Management quota is also possible here. MHTCET cutoff is 85 percentile. And jee cutoff is unknown.The cutoff is not too high for this college.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty members are good and quite supportive. There are many PhD teachers. They are readily available for any doubt and any problem. The professors are not that strict and give marks for activities which are for our own benefit.

Placement Experience:

Honestly the placement is good in college but student's are not able to get that placement because they don't work on their skills . Then how could college place them although College does their best in placement. Almost 80% students get placement in our college .the highest package last year was 12.5 lakhs per annum. The average Package is almost about 3 lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the final year that is 7th semester . A lot of companies visit the campus like TCS , INFOSYS , WIPRO etc batch of 2025 got 363 offers . The highest package was 16 LPA and the avg is 4.37 LPA , placement percentage is 74% . I am planning to opt for MBA after BTECH

The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.
