Course Curriculum Overview

4

The old engineering course is running here. I think we need some amendments in it and replace with new one. After the NEP there is more skill oriented subjects have been added which are beneficial for everyone.

Internships Opportunities

3

Since I'm a 1st year student so I don't have any idea regarding internship opportunity here. But some of my seniors have done there internships from many prestigious institutions such as IITs NITs and many more. College and various clubs here also provides information for internship.

Placement Experience

2.5

Students got campus placements but the ratio is very low here. You can apply at your own for placements and you can also prepare for various examinations from here because you get lot of time. Many students have cleared various exams from here. There is good success rate in GATE EXAM HERE.

Fees and Financial Aid

To my knowledge, you have to pay 22000/year as a tuition fee here and 5000/ is your security money. The examination fee is also much less around 1000/. It's a central university so the fee is very low in comparison to any private university

Campus Life

4

There is many cultural and technical event organised here. Ananta and Rudraksh are some of them. Typically it held in month of March and April. You get a good variety of books in the library and get daily news papers such As The Hindu, The Indian Express etc. There is smart classes and many labs. It has a very good Auditorium. My university has sports facilities and there is also courses for them such as BPeD and MPeD and yoga related courses.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There are 7 boys hostels in this university in which research hostel is 1 seater while others are 2/3 seater. My hostel is a 2 seater hostel. The hostel is very good and its charges is very low. The mess is on contract basis and you have to pay separately for the mess which is around 3000 to 3500 depend upon your hostel.

Admission

The admission is done by CUET EXAM. In CUET you have choose PCM as your subjects then after result you can apply on university site for your desired course. In Btech the cutoff is 300+ for general category student

Faculty

4.5

The faculty members are good here. In my department there are many professors and many guest faculties and lab technician. In entire SoET, the faculty members are helpful in nature and you can interact with them very easily

So almunus of our college has made our placements stronger by bringing the same companies to our campus for placements year after year.

In GEU, placements are good and this was the main reason I took admission here. Companies visits here from Hyderabad offices and even Pune offices who doesn't just gives us jobs but intenrships opportunities too. Around 20% of the students even get PPO as our college teaching and training is such that getting job here is a cakewalk.
