Likes

Infra is absolutely wonderful and I like the college very much
Sports facilities is very good and many opportunities are also there
Campus life is also very good with many extra curricular opportunities also available in the college

Dislikes

Location of campus is not very good with no direct connectivity to major cities
Campus size is too large therefore commuting is not very comfortable
Timings of classes are not comfortable and I think it can be changed

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good and the frequency of timing of exams is great and it proves to be really helpful and I think there is no need for any improvements in the course curriculum and the course is very helpful for real world scenarios

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities are wonderful with the stipends ranging up to rupees 1 lakh per month and many tech giants offering to hire the students such as Amazon and Microsoft and JP Morgan who also offer PPOs to students

Placement Experience

The placements are absolutely great with many giants visiting the college and offering handsome packages with highest package going up to 55 lakhs and the average package standing at around 12 lakhs.my plans after getting the degree is to land in a decent job

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure varies from branch to branch with many scholarships available for the students depending on chal class 12th percentage and JEE main percentile.there are no campus employment opportunities as such although you can search for other internship opportunities

Campus Life

The campus life is also very good with many good annual events taking place every year with SATURNALIA being one of the largest tech fest in north India.there also many sports events taking place every year like YRJA

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is very good offering both AC and non AC rooms for the students with a comfortable bed wardrobe and a table with a lamp in every room for the students the mess is also very good as compared to other colleges

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Admission

The eligibility criteria requires a person to be passed from class 12 with PCM as his subjects and there is reservation for Punjab students and there is admission also through JEE main percentile No need for any improvement

Faculty

Faculty student ratio is very good with many of the faculty members graduated from top IITs and the the interaction between the faculty and students is also very good with the teachers ready to solve any problem for the students

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Placement Experience:

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum as largely relevant and fairly comprehensive,. one of the main reasons i chose this course was the balance between conceptual foundations and practical exposure. the curricuum supports future academic growth since many of the modules introduce us to advance topics early, making it easier to explore research. some topics feel slightly outdated and could be aligned better with the current industry skills and technologies. the exam schedule is manageable, though sometimes multiple assessments happen in the same week or same day, ehich adds pressure . Spacing out evaluations a bit more and giving clearer rubrics could improve the overall experience

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it.
