The College campus is small , and they are not many things to do in the College.
Most of the faculty in the college M tech and some completed, their PhD is also
Separate labs, separate subjects and there is a big library also which contain almost all of the books related to the curriculum

Dislikes

College campus is small, and they are not many things to do. There is only one cafeteria.
The college does not provide opportunities for placement and internship on is to search for internship and placement off campus
Some of the faculty is very rude to teach

The curriculum of the University is out of dated, but the university is taking measures and implementing changes to ensure that the curriculum is up to the mark with the latest technology in the field. The college should improve its placement and internship opportunities. There is a semester exam which take place every six months and in between the two mid semester exams.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

College takes approximately 40,000 for each semester and the total fees of four years comes out to be around four lakhs, the college does provide a scholarship and and e-Kalyan scholarship for eligible students

Campus Life

Since the campus of the college is small, so there is not much to do in the college campus regarding extra activities. There is fest which takes place every year. The name of the fest is Ullas. There is also an annual sports which takes place every year once. College contains a big library, which contains almost all of the books which are related to the Curriculum and Course, there are no social clubs in the college

Admission

You can directly apply for admission in this college from the college admission, or you can also take admission in this college by applying in the Jharkhand combined counselling, which checks the marks of the jee mains exam.

The student of faculty ratio is good in the college. Most of the faculties in our college have completed their M tech and some have also completed their PhD. We can Interact with the teachers and faculty easily, and they are always available

Read this before joining BIT Sindri.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities is decent for students. The placement of BIT sindri varies from branch to branch but the core brances like Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering has evergreen placements. Among the eligible students around 90 percent students get placed. But in branches like civil and production engineering, its not the same. They have very low placement rate around 20 to 30% of eligible students get placement. For CSE, IT & ECE the placement is highly dependent on the situation of market and it varies early. The students are eligible from 6 the semester onwards for placement . The placement drive starts from August or September and companies visit till students graduate. The top recruiters are TCS with more than 80 students from overall campus , TATA power nearly 20 , LNT, JSW , Vedanta , TATA STEEL, JSL, ADANI, ABG , Shyam steel and For it sector companies like samsung , cognisant, hitachi, TCs, Spyder visited for 2k21 batch. For the batch 2020-2024 among batch size of 710 around 620 offers were made. The highest package is given by samsung which is around 28 LPA , students of CSE, IT, ECE and Electrical are eligible. For IT sector average package is around 6 lakhs. For core sectors companies heightest package is offered by vedanta to Electrical, Mechanical, Mining which is around 14 lakhs average package is around 7 LPA.. Around 75- 80 percent students get placed during campus placement drive. The Wish to crack GATE and join PSU after my graduation.

The underrated government college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is slightly outdated due but still it isnrelevant due to research oriented branch. The areas they can improve is by adding practical subjects more than theoretical one. Exams are conducted twice every semester with easy to moderately moderate difficulty level.

All things to be considered before taking admission in BIT

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students are eligible for placement the companies visited are google,jindal,TCS, aakash,PWetc.the highest package offered was 25LPA and the average was 5-6LPA.the place percentage was 60-70% because there are students who is preparing for civil services,GATE,etc.My plan was to crack GATE and get placed in one of the PSU's.

BIT Mesra Review in a nutshell

Placement Experience:

After completion of 6th sem students are eligible for placements. All major tech giants you name it like Google, Microsoft,Walmart,Atlassian,Flipkart,Visa,Texas Instruments,Arcesium,Salesforce..... etc do visit the campus for the placement and around there are around 250+ companies visiting. Highest offered was around 51 lakhs and average for CSE is around 21Lakhs. Percentage of students placed is close to 90%.

The Underrated NIAMT

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after 6th semester for placement drive. Companies visited are Vedanta, JSW, Mahinda, L&T, Ashok Leyland etc and 95% of students are placed till and still few companies are yet to come. Heighest package offered was by Vedanta of 13.95LPA while lowest was from an ADC Company of 3LPA which makes the median package around 8LPA for metallurgy branch and 7LPA for Mechanical. Every year around 98% of students get placed ( Rest 2% either opt out or any seruius indisciplinary issue ) Planning to get a job first then along with preparation of GATE for PSU.

Our college provides almost hundred percent placement for core branches. Students are eligible from seven semester for the placement drive. Companies like tata steel vedanta, jsl, tcs, jsw,etc are the top recruiters. My plan is to join one of these companies for better future.

My opinion about my college BIT SINDRI

Placement Experience:

The students in our college becomes eligible after 6th semester and after that campus placement starts in our college. There are various companies that visited in our college are TATA STEEL,JSW,JSL, VEDANTA,TCS,TATA MOTORS, SAMSUNG, YAMAHA etc. Out of 1200, 971 students got placed in decent companies. The highest package in our college campus is 13.75 lakhs by TATA STEEL and the average package of our college is 6 to 7 lakhs. The percentage of placed students is above 92. After getting the degree I go to work in automobile companies and get exposure of how automobile industry works.
