Placement is very good.College supports a lot in terms of placemnets.
Very good coding culture.Students are encouraged from 1st year itself about every job aspect and opportunities.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not so good. As an nit we expects more.
75% attendance criteria makes college life worse.It does not have any assistance on what students are grasping in class.
Timings of classes are not good.Timetable of the classes are what makes the day worse for students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am currently doing my btech from electronic and communication branch. Our batch is first batch in college that comes under new education policy (NEP). Under NEP we are taught engineering core subject from first year itself. But we believe that it puts burden on students. As we are doing 5 labs in the first year. Also it is hard to maintain good cpi.

Internships Opportunities

Almost every big company visits our college for internships.From Google to nividia to apple hardware.Usually more companies visiting our campus are hiring students for sde role. But this trend will change later as their will be boom in core semiconductor industry.

Placement Experience

After, the start of third year student becomes eligible for internships. Last year 350+ companies visited our campus. 450+ offers are made. Highest package of last year is 87.5 lpa. 92.3 % is the overall placement percentage of the college. 803 students are placed out off 870 eligible ones.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college provides various fee reliefs based on parents income. Students with parent income less than 1 lakh have 100% relief in tuition fee. Student with parents income less than 4 lakh have 63% relief in tuition fee. College also assist for various state scholarships and nsp.

Campus Life

Our College's cultural fest is Culrav. It is a 3 day fest that includes Bollywood night, celebrity night and dj night. Our college tech fest is Avishkar.It is 5 day fest in which various projests are made, coding rounds are organised by the tech team. Our college sports fest is Josh and jalal.It is organised by the sports committee in month of April or may.

Hostel Facilities

1.)First year boys student are given Swami Vivekananda boys hostel and girls are provided with diamond jubille hostel. 3 boys per room and 4 girls per room. One bed, one study table and lamp 3 fans per room, 3 almirah s. 2.) Food is good but not every day. Sometimes, it lags hygienity. 3.) Hostels are allocated on the college registration day itself. 4.)Second year students are accomodated in Patel and tilak hostel . 5.) Third year student are accomodated in tandon and malviya hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per year

Admission

My college is the college pf national importance. It is one of the nit from 31 nits in India. Admission process is carried on the basis of jee main. It comes under top five nits jn terms of placements. Also number one of the best in North India. Our college lags behind in terms of infrastructure and it is also the reason that we do not get the good nirf ranking.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are average and the students get decent packages. Students are eligible for the placements from the very beginning from the 7th semester. The companies visiting hbtu are samsung, exxonMobil, TCS, FMCG, IBM, Hindustan Unilever, Global Logic, Adobe, Paytm, HCL technologies, Nestle, Asian Paints, Britannia and Dabur etc. The highest placement was 32 lpa while the average was 7 lpa last year . Last year almost 75% of the students were placed. My plans are to take a good placement from the college and side by side i'm working on my startup idea as well .

Usually after 3rd sem, students star getting internships. And for compaines visiting our college, except amazon (they blacklisted us). Almost every top companies do visit the college. Highest package was 59LPA, and the average for cse is 12-13Lpa. 99% students get placements. Many students goes abroad for mtech after graduating from snu, i'd like to do the same but after getting a year or two job experience.

MNNIT- A path to Bright Future

One of the important reasons for choosing this college is because of its unique and brilliant placement records. and also it is one of the best NIT in North. Basically I want a college that is not much distant from my state Haryana and should be good also and this alligns perfectly with my scenarios. Talking about the admission process, first you have to clear JEE Mains with a good rank like for CSE your rank be between 1K to 9K . If you want to take admission in this college irrespective of any branch you rank should be under 30K. But this data is not fixed , it changes every year depending on the difficulty level of JEE Mains. and then apply for the JOSSA councelling and there you can keep this college in your choice an dif your rank is good enough, you will get it. Know about MNNIT Allahabad/ NIT Allahabad

With my jee mains rank which was 5000 and along with ews I had two options to choose from... One was NIT Trichy with ece branch and one was NIT Allahabad or MNNIT Allahabad with cse branch. But I have hard that ECE branch is tough in terms of academic as compared to CSE branch.. and also NIT Allahabad was very much mear to my home state that is Bihar. So I considered NIT Allahabad over NIT Trichy. Package was also I reason that I considered while choosing between these two.
