Likes

Good hostel and proper hygiene. Seniors are supportive.
Well equipped labs and classrooms. Good Library.
Hostel facilities are nice.Game room and gym room.

Dislikes

Below average Campus life. Lack of connectivity.
Food quality is average to low. no special foods.
Internet connection in room is low if not using ethernet.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is relevant and up to the latest all india engineering database. Teachers are good and teach according to the syllabus pre defined and given to students in detail. Classes are regular with offs on saturday and sunday.

Placement Experience

Placements of IIIT NAGPUR is quite good. Packages goes high upto 90lpa. Average package here is 15 lpa. 89% students get placed every year on average. Big companies such as Microsoft,Nvidia, Infosys, Goldman Sachs etc have recruited here.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is basically available on the college website. In brief,the tution fees is around 1.5 lpa and hostel fee is around 1 lpa. There are limited scholarship available,can be checked on NSP portal.

Campus Life

The campus life is not much exciting but there are multiple fests throughout the year.we have technical fest called Tantrafiesta and cultural fest Abhivyakti also sports event called Kshitiz. There are multiple clubs run by seniors for dance, music, debate etc.

Hostel Facilities

Facilities such as fan,bed, personal cupboard is provided in one room and also a study table for each. Hostel is well equipped and has good facilities. Proper and regular cleaning.Food quality is average but hygienic.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

Admission through jee mains and josaa counselling. I am pursuing BTech in CSE specialization in data science and analytics. The admission process in college was hectic and required lots of documents and time.

My college is not enough good for the average student.because placement % is not good enough for the students.as i know that the highest package offer in our college is the 7 LPA and many students are take package but not all students are take this opportunity.My plan after getting the degree is to take a good package from company.in my college there are 2-3 company are come for the civil engineering.in there the ultratech and ambuja are included

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

My views about IIIT-Nagpur

I majorly selected this collage and VNIT(metalurgy course ) as a backup, i got ther ECE-Iot in last CSAB round . VNIT have lots of better featurs like grounds , Events which a a lot better than iiitN. i kept the ECE-Iot above VNIT metalurgy thats why i got it , and i didnt fill any other things which i could have got. Admision process is smooth , all the people there are helpful , we need to go to offline admision with all the docs....Read More
