Campus Life is not interesting. Except you won't have much outside coding

Course Curriculum Overview

Course the one the best in India. Designed by expert faculty. All the subjects are to the point and very much aligned with the course opted. Computer science has almost all the subjects of CS right from 1st year. No chemistry or physics.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 1600000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

Right after 6th year students become eligible for internship. Though people received paid summer internship even in 1st year, the count is less. Highest placed offer was of 54LPA and average was 16LPA for CSE

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no scholarship for financially weaker sections of the society. Though you can avail any state scholarship if your state provides one. People have also recieved scholarship based if they are from OBS but it college does not provide one. People have also recieved NSP scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus Life was below average. Curriculum is tough. You won't be having much time during regular college days. 75% attendance is mandatory. Labs ka quite decent. Computer lab is good. Sports club is active during fest. Coding club consists of genius programmers. Coding culture is fantastic. Don't expect much of social life. Seniors are very supportive.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is quite decent. Rooms are fantastic. Volleyball is available. Though don't expect much from sports in hostel. No such serious ragging cases were registered. Mess is also Ok. Hostel is in remote area

Hostel Fee: INR 77000 per year

Admission

It was similar to any JOSSA college that takes admission via JOSSA. Opening rank for computer science and engineering was 19 thousand and closing at 40 thousand. For CCE it closed at 70 thousand. You needed to report after counseling and confirm your admission

The highest Placement in this college is 45 LPA. Most of the students who have completed B tech Engineering in this college choose for further studies in other countries or some of them choose higher studies in our college and they can do interships in our college like coordinator, invigilator and teaching

Placement of this college iss too good. When you come in 3rd you will be eligible for the placement drive. Companies like tcs, mnc, infoysis these are the come come in placement. Highest package of the university is 40 lpa and average placement is 8 lpa. 75% students got their dream job.

A real insight

Placement Experience:

The placements are really good, after the 6th sem students can opt-in for placements. tcs, motorola and other major local companies visited the campus. highest package was around 9 10 lpa and avg was around 3.1 lpa. almost all students got placed till the end of season and faculties personally help the students to get placed.

Remarks:

College is good for engineering But, it is away from city so students have to face some difficulties due lack of transportation and food, however canteen is available inside campus but the flexibility is not available in food

Review of iiit surat

I want to study in western part of india i.e. gujarat or maharashtra. So I've encountered all best colleges in these two states, offcourse iitb will be number 1 but i have just cleared advanced and not even scored good marks in it and in mains i got 40k rank so i couldn't get into circuital branch in nit nagpur and nit surat, so i have decided iiit nagpur , iiit surat and iiit pune. Unfortunately i couldn't get into iiit pune due to high cutoff and got seat in iiit surat in csab 2024. These college only accept jee mains score and no exams will be accepted for b.tech admissions, General cutoff of my college for cse is 35k and for ece is 47k in jee mains....Read More
