Likes

Government engineering College is a good atmosphere for all student
There are a vast large area of campus and also to playground
All the faculty members are much helping attitude towards the student

Dislikes

The sports related informations are not getting fastly choda student
The faculty is not restricting students for studying
Parent teacher connections are very less in this campus

The curriculum is based on the numerical level and it is much stuff It is also help for the real world application it is also helpful for us to do work on the field Also various area for improving the curriculum need to reduce theoretical subject and also improve practical subject

Placement Experience

Student will be eligible for the campus placement from the third year about 6th semester There are various company coming in this college for the campus placements and a huge offers where they providing Around 80 percent of student in our campus getting placement in various companies After my degree I plan to continue the study

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition pieces and the College semester feeses are much less in our college while compier to the private college The complete cost of education is around 50000 There are various scholarships available for the students such as for Muslims and also for the economically weaker section and also the scheduled caste scheduled tribe The students having various responsibilities in the colleges like while when they are participating the clubs stand as and as the volunteers

Campus Life

There are various festivals technical events which are happening in our colleges like the dhruthi techfest happy on every years There are Navy department having their own libraries and also a central libraries are present in our college Also a campus providing importance to the sports and athletics All the club sir handling by the students they are initiating for the events of the clubs

Admission

The eligibility of this on the on the basis on the entrance examination ranking The entrance examinations applications fees is only rs 100 There are various reservation for the students for Muslims and also the scheduled caste There are various things for improvement of the admission such as the exam but not held on the same date in all years

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Main companies visiting the campus are IBM , TCS ,TATA ELXSI,L&T, Cognizant,Toshiba,Vanenburg,Kalkitech,Sobha,Mrf ,Juspay,Dynolt and many more. 70 % students get placement Highest package is 16 lpa and average is 5 lpa After degree higher studies can be considered.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
