the campus infrastructure is pretty good and very clean .
it provides a good sports facility and gym facility is available.
the college has greenery and parks, gardens, playgrounds are there in college campus.

Dislikes

somehow the weather here is maximum humid.
mess food quality is average and needs to be improved.

THE COURSE CIRRICULAM IS VERY GOOD AND BASED ON THE REAL LIFE ANALYSIS.THE COURSE CIRRICULAM OF UOR IS SOME WAHT VERY WAY BETTER THAN OTHER COLLEGE .BUT SOME HOW IT ALSO NEEDS SOME TECHNICALL IMPROVEMENT TO MEET STANDS OF TODAYS TECHNOLOGY

THE EXPERINCE IS QUITE GOOD AS IT HAS VERY WELL CONSTRUCTED BUILDING AND ETC AND THE COLLEGE HAS FOUCUSED ON SOCIAL ASPECTS I .TAKING ABOUT THE CLUB INVOLVEMENT IT IS VERY SIMPLE AND EASY AND THIS COLLEGE HAS THE HIGHEST LAND AREA AND A GOOD INFRASTUCTURE.

As i have taken non ac room in kiit hostel overall. its good the room clean on daily basis,and pretty clean the meal quality is very good and well maintained and hygenic provie a good impact on students.the menu changes on every month bais .the hostel fees is 56000 per year and mess fees is about 45000 per year

THE ADMISSION WAS QUIET EASY . WE HAVE TO SECURE A GOOD PERCENTILE FOR THE ELIGIBILITY OF THE COURSE.WE CAN FIND APPLICATION FORM ,APPLICATION FEES,AND APPLICATION DATES IN THE KITEE WEBSITE.THE EXAM IS QUITE SAME AS JEE MAINS EXAM. FOCUS ON THE IMPORTANT PARTS OF THE CHAPTERS .IT IS GOOD TO JOIN IN THIS COLLEGE AFTER CLEARING YOUR FIRST ATTEMPT ONLY.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Honest and Genuine review of NIT Rourkela

Placement Experience:

So the students become eligible for placemant usually from the 7th semester of the Btech which is from the 4th year and the internship opportunities are available from the 3rd year onwards that is from 5th and 6th semester. So in year 2024-25 the number of companies that visited The campus is around 330 And the total job offers offered is about 1200. So the highest package in the EC branch is about 1.2 crore per annum and the average package for the EC branch is around 13 to 14 lakhs. And the Profile of jobs are core electronics, VLSI and semiconductor roles ,system and embedded developments, software engineering, IT services, consulting and analytics. The percentage of student which are getting placed are in the range of 90 to 99% for ECE branch. The top recruiters are Apple Google, Microsoft, Amazon, wipro, Deloitte, Tata,Vedanta etc. After completing my degree in ECE from NIT Rourkela my plan is to join the core technology sector as a VLSI and semiconductor engineer in a reputed multinational Companies, leveraging the strong foundation and industrial exposure gained during my studies in case I do not secure a campus placement I aim to pursue the off campus opportunities in electronics, IT or analytics sectors. Alternatively I am open to perceive higher studies in MBA to specialize in the management sector.

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.

KIIT is worth your money without any doubt!!!!

Students generally have to give the KIITEE exam (exam registration can be done from the official college website, https://kiit.ac.in). Admission can also be done through management quota or your jee main score (Information regarding that is regularly updated on the official Kiit website. Reservations: 15% of seats are reserved for SC, 7.5% for ST, and 3% for physically challenged students. Suggested changes: Honestly, the admission process is smooth and easy.
