Kirori Mal College: Exceeding expectation

The placements of b com hons in any college in north campus is good. The average package for b com hons in kmc is around 8 lpa plus. All top companies visit the campus during placement season including d e shaw, icici, kpmg, bajaj etc. The teachers are really good , they are very lenient in terms of giving marks in internals and giving attendence. Classes start at 8 40 till 2-3 in eveing with per day 2-3 lectures and between each lecture there is 1hr gap.

I got into F13 Technologies for the role of Research intern under union ministry of india through my college placement cell. The placement process was very smooth. The stipend for interhship was 10k/month where i went for 3 months, and there was no attendance issue in kmc so i had no problem. I got to learn many new things working with f13.

At the end of 4th sem companies visit the campus for placements and you need at least 6 cgpa with no backlogs to sit for placements. All top companies like kpmg, bajaj, icici , nation with namo, de shaw etc visit campus for placemts offer as high as 20lpa for b com and bcom hons student. last year 188 offers were made. The average package was 8 lpa plus.

The fee for b com hons is 13.5 k/ yr other than that you have two exam fee which range between 510-1500 rs per semester. you can apply for fee concession after which you get 30%,50%,70% of your fee back after interview with college adminstration. There are various scholarships available one can check on college website. There is campus employments as well which is 2-3 month intership in finance and adminstration of college, you have to give 8-12hr per week into this and can get 10k stipend.

There are many Clubs and socities in kmc rangeing from entrepreneurship to arts to music to drama and what not. Infact i was part of two college societies through which i gained a lot of exposure and got interact with students from all year and courses and work as a whole. It a great way to network and make friends in college. Showing the experience of society i got into many internship. There are 3 reading hall in kmc library opening at 8 am and closing at 8 pm,it has allthe books,magzines and daily newspaper one student needs along with wi-fi.

For admission in year 2021, you should have maths in your class 12 to be eligible in bcom hons in kmc or any other college in delhi university. I am from st category so the cut off was less for me, meanwhile for genral last cut off was around 95 whereas it was 85 for st. The admission process was quite easy just fill the form in delhi university website and when you clear cut off of any du affilated college you can go to thats college official website and then pay the fee and get your self admitted in college.
