IIITDM JABALPUR review

In this institute the curriculum is more research based and provides better opportunities for further studies including masters and PhD. The curriculum is medium tough but the best thing is the absence of chemistry as a course. Some of the courses are tough and some of the courses are easy but they are designed in a way that prepares a student to be an Engineer. There are 4 exams per semester that includes 2 quizes, one mid-semester examination and End-semester examination.

The internship starts from the fifth semester that is starting of 3rd year but there is less opportunity incampus so students have to search for off campus internships but this does not hinder the placement of institute

The students become eligible for in campus placement from 7th semester. The institutes placement cell starts inviting companies at start of August and students that qualify the company cgpa cutoff can try for interview. the placement cell invites a lot of companies like Amazon,Goldman Sachs, De Shaw, Meesho, Oracle, Cisco, Rakuten. A lot of seniors have also cleared the off campus placement in prestigious companies. the highest CTC earned is 1.22 cr

The fee per semester is 90250 including tution fee and hostel fees and 15000 including Mess fee. The gross total for 4 years is 855000. The institute provides various scholarship opportunities like the institute MCM scholarship given to roughly top 10% per discipline and batch, NSP scholarship given by the JEE Mains ranks.

The campus life is great with a very peaceful climate in the plateaus of Dumna. The institute clubs conduct various even annually which includes cultural fests like Tarang, Abhivyakti and Technical fests like Roborush, Hackbyte, CodeRumble. The infrastructure provided is great with a lecture hall dedicated for Daily lectures, A core lab complex and a Computer Centre and Library.

Hostel Facility is good with triple sharing rooms. The hostels have all the facilities for entertainment like Indoor games room a badminton court. Each Hostel has a canteen that remains open till midnight. Mess food is average and menu has frequent changes with the season.

The admission is smooth we have to fill jossa councelling. In this college we will get admission through Jee mains rank through jossa councelling which consists of 6 rounds after that another councelling happen which is known as CSAB. The total fee of course is around 855000 including Mess charges, hostel charges and tution fee.
