Infrastructure is very good.centralised A.C is there.
Greeny is there in campus there is lot of trees so refreshing.
Placement sceneries are nice but 6 lakhs average.

Dislikes

Very crowded here in KIIT 5000 in take in CSE branch
Course curriculum for placement is not good
Peer group are not good here because of donation wale students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good for Knowledge but not good for getting placed in company, so one need to put on more knowledge other than college to get placement so course curriculum should be improved and rest is good but there need to improve in the course curriculum.

In KIIT UNIVERSITY Patia Bhubaneswar high radius company is tied up which give 1500 internship to kiit students with paid of 17500 which is very good. And many on campus companies visited to give internship.

Placement Experience

Placement is average, and the average package is around 6 lakhs CTC and placement is around 90% so if one works hard they will easily get placement but average package for getting out of box placement we need to go for off campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure for CSE 2023 batch was 192000 thousands per semester where as hostel fee was 28000 and mess fee is 22500 and scholarship if the student get more than 9.95 CGPA in semester exam, and there is no financial assistance but there are campus employment opportunities.

Campus Life

Campus Life is awesome with good gender ratio and there are various clubs for everyone to participate and know their hidden side our college clubs are like IIT levels and infrastructure is foreign type very awesome.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fees is around 28000 for three bed non A.C and 22500 for mess for whole 6 months semester,but a.c hostel are best in bhubneswar because it's too hot here. Room are spacious with nice facilities .

Admission

The admission process was smooth.For getting into KIIT UNIVERSITY Patia Bhubaneswar you need to give KIITEE exam which is free of cost. Exam was easy and the cut off was 75 % percentile for CSE branch. Everything was recommendable.

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Honest and Genuine review of NIT Rourkela

Placement Experience:

So the students become eligible for placemant usually from the 7th semester of the Btech which is from the 4th year and the internship opportunities are available from the 3rd year onwards that is from 5th and 6th semester. So in year 2024-25 the number of companies that visited The campus is around 330 And the total job offers offered is about 1200. So the highest package in the EC branch is about 1.2 crore per annum and the average package for the EC branch is around 13 to 14 lakhs. And the Profile of jobs are core electronics, VLSI and semiconductor roles ,system and embedded developments, software engineering, IT services, consulting and analytics. The percentage of student which are getting placed are in the range of 90 to 99% for ECE branch. The top recruiters are Apple Google, Microsoft, Amazon, wipro, Deloitte, Tata,Vedanta etc. After completing my degree in ECE from NIT Rourkela my plan is to join the core technology sector as a VLSI and semiconductor engineer in a reputed multinational Companies, leveraging the strong foundation and industrial exposure gained during my studies in case I do not secure a campus placement I aim to pursue the off campus opportunities in electronics, IT or analytics sectors. Alternatively I am open to perceive higher studies in MBA to specialize in the management sector.

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.

KIIT is worth your money without any doubt!!!!

Students generally have to give the KIITEE exam (exam registration can be done from the official college website, https://kiit.ac.in). Admission can also be done through management quota or your jee main score (Information regarding that is regularly updated on the official Kiit website.
