The course I choose will help me in my research career. I want to become a physicist or a researcher. Physics is the field which can uncover the truths of the universe, it is applicable in every part universe that's why I choose physics. Well, the curriculum is designed perfectly, it will also give you the opportunity to choose the MNC companies, research work or teaching. The curriculum should focus more on practical learning than theoretical. The course is divided into 6 semesters with different subjects in each semester. Exams are held at the end of every semester with practical and theory exams, and mid-semester exams in between the semesters.

Internships Opportunities

There are a lot of companies available for internships and placements few oc them are Infosys, IBM, Microsoft, Deloitte, Oracle, Wipro etc. I have not enrolled in intership so I can't say anything. But students who take internship have a really positive response about that.

Placement Experience

Every year student is available for campus placement, placement cells organises placement Mela every year in even semesters in which anyone can take part. Wipro, IBM, Microsoft, Deloitte, Oracle, Infosys etc. Around 80% of students get placed who apply for placements. I am interested in pursuing my Masters in Physics after my undergrad.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees is increased by 5% percentage after a particular time period. Complete cost education including tution fees, hostel fees, mess charges, examination form fees, it can be around 4-3.5 lakhs. Without hostel facilities it would be around 70-60000. There various scholarships provided by the college for economically weaker sections and merit scholarships. University also provide interships with stipend upto 10-20000 per month within the University campus.

Campus Life

There are various annual fests during the session. The session starts with a sports meet, then the garba night during navratri, Diwali Mela and the college annual fest Manjari which is 2 day fest along with various activities like DJ night, dance battle, night concert etc. College Library is open during 8am-6pm the 6 days of the week. There more then 50000 books with daily newspapers, monthly magazines and publications. Departments are provided with Fully furnished rooms and fully equipped lab instruments. There are smartboards available. And a computer lab. There are a lot of societies from dance to debate society. Seminar are held regularly. Career counseling sessions. There are various sports available and college have its own team for kabbadi. There's a student union which can help withany issue related with the college facilities.

Admission

Eligibility: One should have appeared for the CUET-UG examination conducted by the NTA. Admission will be done by the marks scored in the CUET-UG exam. One should also have given the senior secondary examination with Maths, Physics, Chemistry and English as their core subjects with 50% marks individually in each subject. Admission Process: Admissions are done completely in online mode. Candidates should register at the official website of University of Delhi, www.du.ac.in . After cut-offs will be declared and you have to select the college and course which you want to pursue. Application for the CUET-UG exam are started between March-April and exam will be conducted in May. Only one exam will be conducted a year in different shifts. CUET-UG exam syllabus in as same as board exam syllabus.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements on the 3rd year, we have decent placement opportunities but not the best, highest package is around 15 lakhs. Companies that visit are Bain and Co., Urban Clap etc. average package is around 5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are getting into a master's programme and pursuing research.

Most of the placements are from Bcom coures and Bsc stats honors ,BA courses doesn't promote much placement.Being in Hindu College we can make carrier in our specific courses but also apart from that societies here help in personality development and skill enhancement which prepare us for future.
