Overall the college is very good to study. teachers and infrastructure of the college are very good. They need to improve in the placement department.

This college has that course subject which I wanted to choose. The distance of the college from my home is very far so that I can go easily. The college has a good infrastructure for my course subject. The laboratory of the college is very well set.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose electrical engineering as my course in CIEM college. There are 120 seats for electrical engineering in the college. There are many faculties for this course. And the faculties are very good and helpful for the students. The laboratory is very good and useful for students.
Internships Opportunities
No, my college does not provide any internship. They organize campusing in the final year of students for jobs.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities are average. The college provides a maximum 50% placement to the students. There are many companies come for the placement process like Wipro, Arden telecom, Akshara infotech, HTC, Cognizant, etc. The college also organise mass recruitment process.
College Events
There are many events are celebrated in our college. There are many cultural and technical events are held in every year. For the new students of the college, the college organizes a fresher's program. In the wintertime, the college organizes cultural fest. Technical fests are also held in every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure depends on the maulana Abdul kalam Azad University. As the is wbut affiliated. Yes, the fees structure is a little expensive for me as I belong to a middle-class family. We have to pay the fees in semester wise. we paid the fees before that semester.

Campus Life
Campus life is good. We have a huge campus including a ground. we have a great time there. The gender ratio is equal at some point. We have a common room for some games. The laboratory is very well set. The infrastructure of the college is very good. The college organizes some sports events every year for students. They helped students to participate in many competitions like robotics, debates, etc.
Hostel Facilities
There are no hostel facilities are available in our college. As my college is a little far from my home so I didn't face any problems. But some of my friends who are coming from different town or states faced some serious problem for accommodation. But there are two canteens in the college. Food quality is average.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network and senior students are very good. The seniors are very helpful for the juniors. They helped juniors in every field.
Exam Structure
The exam structure of the college for courses is semester wise for the technical course there are eight semesters for the whole course. The semesters are held every six months after. There are also two internal exams every semester. The numbers coming from internal are added with the semester result.
Admission
After finishing the SSC exam I choose science as a stream in HS. After completing the HS I gave the entrance exam called west Bengal joint. After releasing the result of entrance exam I am counseling my rank forgot a college as my preferred. Then the first round result came and I got a college. But for the better option, I gave my rank for 2nd round counseling and then I got the college CIEM.
Faculty
There are many faculties for an electrical engineering course. The faculties are very well educated and intelligent. They are very helpful for the students. They teach us very well. They are always ready to clearing our doubts whenever we need.
