Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is based on KTU syllabus, and the college follows the syllabus itself, i chose Computer science and engineering because I had an interest towards that field,every semester has 2 internal exams and one end semester exams, and teaching method is good but depends on the teacher entirelly

Internships Opportunities

Interships are offered during the 3rd and final year of the college, many of our seniors are currently doing internships in various companies, inside and outside the state, we do have good placements here also

Placement Experience

Placements are provided by college , and we do have an active training and placement cell here, Many companies come here and recruit the students, last year the average package was about 5.5lpa, about 600-700 offers get made every year and more than 300 students get placed

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly tution fee is only 9650/- since it's a government aided college, the time of admission you will have to pay a few of Almost 19k as PTA fund and other expenses.. scholarships are also available,

Campus Life

Campus Life is pretty much good, there are many clubs including IEEE, IEDC, netX, GDSC, NSS etc for improving technical and social skills, there are a number of programs in the college, we have 2 annual fests named Takshak and Sanskriti, Takshak is our annual technical fest, it happens in November every year, and Sanskriti is our arts and cultural fest, which happens in every April/may

Admission

The admission takes place based on keam entrance score, the college requires a high cutoff rank inorder to get admission, management quota seats are also available, on the time of admission, it took like 18k fees, reservations are available according to CEE, and on some branches EWS quota isn't available, admission process took some time, but it wasn't that lag

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

My honest review of ICET

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

Navigating MACE: A student's journer Through Campus Life, Academics and Oppurtunities.

I chose this college over other colleges primarily for its autonomous status. This allows MACE to have more current and industry relevent curiculum unlike colleges with fixed university syllabus. Admission to MACE was based on keam rank. Although I had a good rank, it wasnt high enough to get my preferred branch in NIT calicut or CET.
