Likes

The faculty is good at their job and is considerate to students
Is very active in cultural activitoes and events sre conducted frequently.
All the clubs are very active and there is a club for everyone .

Dislikes

Extremly hot and humid durimg the summer season
The labs are very far away and could be closer .
The canteen food could be better and less exp.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college had a autonomous syllabus which made me opt for tkm . The curriculum is good and helps us in the real world as there is a lot of real world application . The frequency of the exams are a bit too close and could be bwtter with more days in between each sub exams

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for campous placement from their third year. Average is about 360000 per annum and highest package offered to some one was about 34 00,000. Lot of the students get placed . I currently plan on taking a pg course after graduating .

Fees and Financial Aid

No tution fee increase has yaken place since i joined. About 9000 plus exam registragion fees which is about 2100 for each sem. I am in my first year so havve not undertaken any campus jobs. Lot of company come forward with internship oportunities

Campus Life

Hestia is conductud yearly and is usualy conducted during Lot of books are available to students and each branch has their own individual library . Each class has a projector and is regularly used my teachers .

Admission

You have to take scince with maths and get a passing grade in keam to be eligible for taking admission . The applicayion form and process is all done obline via kerala govt site .I did not avail any reservation benifits .U have to take 2 exams in a day which is tiring .

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Placement Experience:

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.
