The campus life is very good here in the KIIT University
The infrastructure is very astonishing consist of large building.
The sports facilities are very good all types of sports are available.

Dislikes

The large student base of around 5000 people in CSE itself
The teachers are very strict and impatient.
The hostels rooms of 3 bedded are less hygenic

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is were well structurized according to the new education policy and the and the teachers also provide valuable change in the course if required. The school of computer science engineering have 3 specialized courses to be pursued. The real world application is well enough and the student societies make the applicable in real world in collaboration with societies.

Class Size: 85Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee here is fixed for all the semester. The complete cost of education will cost approximately 20 lacs. You will also get the scholarship from the KIITEEE entrance test if you get the top 1000 rank. Campus placements are also satisfactory where college claims of 100% placements.

Campus Life

College organises its fest named KIIT FEST at the month of February every year. Recently college completed the 25 years and also celebrated silver jubilee last year. It also has its own libraries with central library being primary Library containing all types and geners of books. Sports facilities are also very good with every sports having their own stadiums. There are also student clubs running by the students and faculty. It makes student work upon themselves.

Admission

The admission process was smooth, hasle free and open to all free of cost. There are no such eligibility criteria to give the exams and all the admission related details are available on KIIT University's official website. The exam name is KIITEEE and it occurs only 1 time a year in three phases: Phase 1 ,Phase 2 and Phase 3.

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Honest and Genuine review of NIT Rourkela

Placement Experience:

So the students become eligible for placemant usually from the 7th semester of the Btech which is from the 4th year and the internship opportunities are available from the 3rd year onwards that is from 5th and 6th semester. So in year 2024-25 the number of companies that visited The campus is around 330 And the total job offers offered is about 1200. So the highest package in the EC branch is about 1.2 crore per annum and the average package for the EC branch is around 13 to 14 lakhs. And the Profile of jobs are core electronics, VLSI and semiconductor roles ,system and embedded developments, software engineering, IT services, consulting and analytics. The percentage of student which are getting placed are in the range of 90 to 99% for ECE branch. The top recruiters are Apple Google, Microsoft, Amazon, wipro, Deloitte, Tata,Vedanta etc. After completing my degree in ECE from NIT Rourkela my plan is to join the core technology sector as a VLSI and semiconductor engineer in a reputed multinational Companies, leveraging the strong foundation and industrial exposure gained during my studies in case I do not secure a campus placement I aim to pursue the off campus opportunities in electronics, IT or analytics sectors. Alternatively I am open to perceive higher studies in MBA to specialize in the management sector.

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.

KIIT is worth your money without any doubt!!!!

Students generally have to give the KIITEE exam (exam registration can be done from the official college website, https://kiit.ac.in). Admission can also be done through management quota or your jee main score (Information regarding that is regularly updated on the official Kiit website. Reservations: 15% of seats are reserved for SC, 7.5% for ST, and 3% for physically challenged students. Suggested changes: Honestly, the admission process is smooth and easy.
