Exploring Opportunities: A comprehensive review of NITK

The curriculum of ECE in NITK involves a lot about application about semiconductors, embedded systems, sensors etc.. so I am very much interested about semiconductors and sensors. So, this curriculum involves many subjects and real life projects in the field of semicnductors. The exams are conducted once a month to know the understanding level of student and professor makes necessary changes according to the grades.

You are eligible for internships from 5th semester. The companies that offer internship opprotunities are Jindal steel and Power ltd., Quicket solutions, Jaro education etc.. and the average stipend offered by these companies in an average is 20000

The placements are good in my college. From 7th semester you are eligible for campus placements. Many companies come to recruit students like Amazon, Axis bank, Decathlon, MediaTek etc.. Highest package offered was 45lpa and average package offered was 20.95lpa. And my plans after getting the degree is to do M.Tech in ECE so that it helps me to get a variety of jobs

The annual fees for non-reservation candidates is 2,15,270 and for SC/ST students it is 90,270. A student can apply for many scholarships if he is eligible for them then he can apply for many scholarships and for students who are economically weak NITK provides financial assistance. And apart from worl-study programs it offers other employment offers like internships and campus placements.

My overall experience in my college is good. NITK conducts two annual fests everyyear namely INCIDENT and ENGINEER in the month of march and september respectively. The library offers a wide variety of books for subjects and some other novels too and library looks good. The classes are well maintained with digital classrooms and highly qualified professors. The hostel council of NITK conducts sports and cultural competitions among the students every year.

The hostel room is good it provies you a individual bed, a study table and a chair and for network connection it gives a LAN port. Quality of meal is good ad menu is also perfect and food tastes very good. The hostel fees and mess fees combined it is 60,000 per year which is reasonable for the quality of food they are providing.

Application process generally involves filling out an application form wich will be sent to you via email after you get selected in this college through JOSAA and CSAB. The details of application fees and application dates can be found on NITK official website. For SC/ST students the tution fees is not included and they can pay only mess fees and hostel fees.
