Bsc physics gives the Candidates flexibility in the masters they choose . Also the candidate who've an appreciable score in Physics and Mathematics have a high chance in getting the seats in Bsc physics. The course provides the students a certificate course during the second year of the course which would help them improve their practical knowledge. The faculties are well trained and promote the moral knowledge of the students also.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for the campus placement during their 6th semester. Several highly professional companies approach the students of Christ college. Every year an average of 300 students are placed in the college. The highest salary package offered is 9LPA . Placements are a good option for the students looking for better salary options.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee for a regular Bachelor of science (self finance) student is 25000 per year. And the first year fee will be an amount of 29000 including the amount of 6000 for the admission procedures. Several scholarships and fee allowances are provided to the students which involves Post matric scholarships for minorities, Post matric scholarships for disabled students,Inspire scholarship. Specific internships and campus placements are also provided to the students in various courses.

Campus Life

The department fests and college programmes are held by both departments and the college union. Also the alumini meetings and several celebration are also conducted by the college administration. Being an eco-friendly campus the whole atmosphere gives a positive energy each day. The college library have an appreciable amount of books and the research centre is also easily accessible and flexible to use . Each year the college union conducts arts day which is a 3-4 day programme and the main attraction of the year. It's a department wise competition which ensures the participation of each and every student in the department. Sport camps are one of the main attraction in the college campus. The college provides proper training and sports kit for the sportspersons. Interzone competitions are held and appreciable victories are also accomplished every year . Various student-friendly clubs are running successfully in the college. Every such clubs help the students improve their social life

Admission

Each program has its own eligibility criteria. For a Bsc course the applicant would require a minimum of 55% marks in Physics, Mathematics and chemistry. Admission to most programs is based on merit , considering the academic performance of the applicant in the previous examinations. Reservation. A percentage of seats are reserved for candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC . Seats are also reserved for candidates with various physical disabilities The timing of the internal exams and the end semester exams are usually scheduled by the college administration and communicated to students in advance . Results are published before the next semester exams . Being an autonomous college , the paper evaluation and exam schedules are comfortable and flexible to an extent. Applicants need to fill out the application form available either in person at the college's admission office or online with a payment of 500.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I chose this course to help others.social service was the main motive. I'm now persuing post graduation because i got best classes from best teachers. Real world applications are that i can be a good psychologist. The exams are gaped 6 months. Difficulty depends on the teachers who prepare the exam papers. But mainly it is syllabus based.
