Course Curriculum Overview

There is some fixed subjects which are core subjects according to you branch and there is a selection process too for some more subjects which you have to choose as you interest.in 2nd year there is section selection process in which you can select teachers as you plan.

Class Size: 85Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Internships Opportunities

HuThere is some internships available for students those are offered by collgee itself and there is many internships offers those are offerd by many big companies.internship facility is excellent , you can avail internship as per you skills.

Placement Experience

In terms of campus placement college is best. There is 100% campus placement with average package of 8-9 lpa. There is so many companies visited for placements. There are so many names so i can't write each of them.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution Fee structure for btech is 175000 per semester and there is other charges for hostel and mess.there is scholarship available for students under 1000 rank in kiitee examination.i have no terms to express about financial assistance.

Campus Life

Campus is so big and beautiful, it is around 6000 acre which is so big. There is all available facilities for games as your interest.In terms of infrastructure and game college is best.campus life is totally enjoyable.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel review is excellent . All staff members, wardens are so supportive helpful. Mess food is good , hygienic . In room there is different categories for rooms 2Ac , 3Nonac , premium In 3non ac there is 3 bed , well maintained rooms.

Hostel Fee: INR 56000 per year

Admission

You can make the registration process through kiit website. Then you have to appear for kiitee examination,for eligibility you have to cross their cutoff for different different branches.I think there is no benefits general category.

IIIT Bhubaneswar means technology!

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

Placement Experience:

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

NOT AN IDEAL COLLEGE BUT DEFINITELY DESCENT

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.

KIIT is worth your money without any doubt!!!!

Students generally have to give the KIITEE exam (exam registration can be done from the official college website, https://kiit.ac.in). Admission can also be done through management quota or your jee main score (Information regarding that is regularly updated on the official Kiit website. Reservations: 15% of seats are reserved for SC, 7.5% for ST, and 3% for physically challenged students. Suggested changes: Honestly, the admission process is smooth and easy.
