Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is still lenient compared to other colleges, which is a good thing. Your focus on exams depends on how serious you are and the environment you are in (friends, college life). The curriculum is very much like SSPU, with a few changes in subjects as MIT adds Yoga and Peace. Exams are held 2 times only, Midsems and Endsems, both of which account for your credits and GPA
Internships Opportunities
They claim to provide 100% internship to students, paid and non-paid, depending on your skills and CGPA. Top companies only hire 2 or 3 students per company. So to get a high package job from clg placements, you should have a good cgpa and/or necessary skills. They encourage off campus placements and might also help in it.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees for engineering is 14L. To be paid in 2 installments of 1.6L and 1.9L per semester. MIT offers scholarship from their own university of 25%, 50% and 100%, which can be availed if you score the mentioned percentile in CET and JEE respectively. Scholarship can also be continued in 2nd and 3rd year if you maintain a CGPA of 8.5 with a good attendence. Fee waiver off is also available for EWS and Sc/St students
Campus Life
Many fests are held within the campus, and many tech clubs provide useful knowledge in their respective area. Events are held in almost every 2 weeks and keep on happening, so you have to be informed well to take part/be present at the events A library is present which has a ton of books for each branch. You can borrow them using your ID card. There is also a sitting area for students to study which is very lively all day. Sport clubs are present whose selection is done in the starting of the year. Apart from the sports team of MIT, many events also include teams from outside
Admission
Took admission through CET. Scored 92.4 percentile so got CSE Branch. Application is done online on their website and they charged a fees of 750/- INR. Once you recieve an Email for the branch you have selected, you can complete the process by paying the fees (1st installment - 1,60,000/-). It is fairly easy to get higher branches if you have scored above 90. The intake of students is between 1500-2000, mostly of the Computer Science Branch (core, ai, bs etc) for engineering.
