I find my course BA(Hons.) Political Science is very much interesting and effective. We get to know about the functioning of our country and the world. We get to read about the whole working of the parliament and the election process.

Internships Opportunities

The college provides internship opportunities. The teachers also help the students to do an internship with any news channel with their provided reference.

Placement Experience

My college has a placement cell. It got inaugurated this year so we are looking forward to seeing which companies come to the college and what package they provide.

College Events

A series of events take place in the college every year. Cultural events are held where we get to see the various cultures of our country through various programs. Debates are held on major issues like women empowerment etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very much affordable. Just Rs. 8,500 annual. In a city like Delhi, this much amount is considered as nothing. So studying in a Delhi University college with this much low fee is a great opportunity for a student.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides scholarships to the students who score above 7 CGPA. It's a very good initiative taken by the college to motivate the students to study well, hard and effective.

Hostel Facilities

I reside in a private PG because my college doesn't have a hostel.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

The interaction with the alumni was very good and useful. We got to know about a lot of useful things. the college organizes an event regarding the alumni meet where we get to interact with the alumni and learn something new and exciting.

Faculty

The faculty is highly qualified. They don't stress the students, they tell us about the best, easy and simple ways of studying. They motivate us a lot. They teach by relating real-life stories because of which it becomes interesting.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Too vague to understand, feels extra burden of unnecessary irrelevant topics , extra papers like SEC/VAC simply add to the burden while barely providing with any skills and values as their name suggests . Studying them and preparing for exams add extra stress and unnecessary burden on them , diverting their focus from their core papers , which are already too huge and they study materials or readings simply fail to assist . Areas for improvement would be - proper structured study materials , also proper structured practical subjects / papers for students where they can actually learn or gain knowledge/skills which will be advantageous in their future .

SRCC has one of the best campuses and our basketball court is so famous that many movies too have been promoted and shot there. Our campus is big too and our auditorium is such that many top personalities have come and spoken there. Kalindi: The off Campus Star of DU !

There were several Reasons to choose Kalindi: It's an all girls college so it felt comparatively more Safer than the Co-ed ones. Also, this might be an unpopular opinion but the Boys were not there to make mischiefs so there was a good built-in environment for Study. Girls were there to manage each and everything. Either it was NCC, NSS, Sports, Societies or even Student Union, girls were incharge of literally everything and it used to feel very proud and wholesome.
