B-tech college 'tanakpur' review

I always wanted to study mechanical engineering,it is because i have already had a diploma in mechanical engineeing. Talking about the course which is quite good,in my opinion teachers are also doing great job.Frequency of exams is also quite well,in a six month semester,there are 3 exams to be conducted.

I guess from the 7th semester,students get eligible for the placements. As i am currently in 2nd year,so i do not have any idea on this perticular topic. Avg. Package is 150,000? yearly. I plan on getting a relevent job after getting the degree

Fee structure,till last year was great,but from the start of the 2023-24 session,the university just increased the fees by almost 90% . I am a latrel entry student,i directly got admission in 3rd semester and the total fees was 55,850? for 3rd semester in which 37,500? was tuition fees and rest was for the other services. My classmates who got admission one year ago,had to pay 30,000? for the fee of 3rd semester. This is a huge difference i mean we all get teachings from the same teacher but we pay different amounts to the teachers. Scholarships,i think some of the students do avail the scholarships,i don't have idea on this topic. I am currently in 2nd year so i do not have idea about camus placements either.

I have spent almost 8 months in this college till date and is has been amaizing, talking of the fests.. we had arambh2023 our anual tech fest and recently we had our annual sports fest too kauthik. Classrooms have decent space and sitting arrangement,although none of them has a smart board but there are projectors present in some of the classrooms. I Have no idea about the social groups.

I actually didn't took any qualification exam. Our admission was based on our diploma percentage. There is one thing i didn't like that the year we joined the college,the fees was incresed by 80% for all new students with no extra benifits..
