Fees structure is too high which I used to dislike most
Its a non uniform college which i also dont like

Faculty is excillence as they are going to be your future mentor, well from Computer Science background UPES is perfect if you dont have any option. But you have to do skill based courses which you have to explore no one will gonna to tell you about.

In UPES there are lots of internship opportunities as some companies provide Pre Placement Offer too like providance, and mostly all of the students got paid and unpaid internship, many MNCs visits UPES every year

Placement Experience

Placement is well good in UPES as 95% of the students got placed every year, with average package of 8 Lakhs. Highest package of the UPES is 52 Lakhs per Annum. Many high MNCs visited UPES, like Microsoft, Myntra, IBM, Infosys etc

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees structure of four years of Computer Science program is nearly 20 Lakhs ,which includes all additional charges without hostel which is too costly and for hostel it arounds 8 Lakhs for four years.

Campus Life

UPES provide various activities, clubs and student chapter to participate and helps to work on your skills, there is also a big library with around thousands of books which is very good, they also provide e learning and also provide some coursera courses, they also provide sports facilities

Admission

For Btech Computer Science you need 50% in class 12th with PCM. You can find application form on official website of UPES, it charges 1000-1200. UPES conducts its own exam or you can select JEE Main score basis selection.

"Overall, a satisfying college experience"

Placement Experience:

In our college students become elegible for placement after 5th and 6th sem . Preplacement drive such as aptitude test , coding session, group discussion may start from 4th sem . I'm not sure wether i take placement from my college or by myself but my goal after completing my degree is to take a repotative job as software engineer.

The feeling of being in IIT Roorkee

Placement Experience:

Placements are good as you all know its IIT. The avg package of all branches is still around 20 LPA . For CS its around 35-40 LPA. And for all other branches its greater than 15 LPA. Im a first year student so i have not seated in placement but there are so many companies that visit iit roorkee for placements, like google,microsoft, ibm, oracle, etc Highest package secured by a student this year is 1.5 crore. Nearly 95 percent of students get placed every year for sure. My plans after degree is to get placed and do my job.

Is it one of the best private college ?

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good here many companies comes at campus every year each year the number of companies increases and the highest package is about 32LPA and students are allowed from 7 semester to enroll in campus placement program 100% placement is assured if u are scoring more than 7.5 CGPA and having no backlogs at all my plans are to get degree and try to get the campus placement if possible

Life around Campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.tech Cse course is good as I see that AI rises quickly in this generation which looks good for future. College must increase lab for more practical exercises in labs for better learning, Timings must ne atleast 2 to 3 hour's for better learning.

Overall good college according to fees

Placement Experience:

After completing second year means 4 th semester the students usually start to do the internship and usually the students from 5-6 semester become eligible for the campus placements , there are various companies that visited here like wipro, microsoft, hdfc , intallipat, etc . I don't know about the number of offers but the highest package offered here was 40 lakhs per annum.

IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

Placement Experience:

Iit roorkee provide better Placement opportunities than any other college. It has it's placement and intership cell . Gold man Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, graviton and quantbox are the big recruiters which visit my college. Placement are good with average package of 1800000 per annum. If someone don't get on campus then cell helps in getting off campus placement. Enormous amd strong alumini network helps in getting off campus placement.

A big no for placements and a big yes for campus life

Entrance test for the programme is conduted based on the criteria that is above 60% admissions are provided. The professors of the university also conducts interviews before admissions in zoom. After all the process once the student clears the exam and interview admission is provided. I was enrolled in the university in the year 2018 as would say that I definetely wasted my 3 precious years and money offcourse. There were no placements also, just for small matters they send you from one person to other and for some university matters you will have to go other campus just for some signatures....Read More
