Likes

The environment of the college is really good and beautyfications were great
The faculty and the practical facilities were very good
The opportunities from our college were remarkable

Dislikes

The fees were a bit high and we cant manage to pay fee on time
Our college play ground area is bit small for so much students

Course Curriculum Overview

There are intercollege sports events and hackathons and really helps us to learn new things for greater good Our teaching methods were very good but if mock test were taken a bit more then it would really be a great help to SVIST students

Internships Opportunities

I havnt attended any interships yet because i am preparing for govt. Jobs but i know there are many interships which is provided by Training and placement cell but unfortunately i didnt attend any of that

Fees and Financial Aid

Our tution fees is taken by following the fee structure which is moderate for all students and for my branch which is CSE the 4 years fee structure was arond 260000 which is 40000 per semister and surely you can get scholorships in SVIST portels

Campus Life

There are many festivals like saraswati puja which is held in february , basanta utsav in march or april, hackathons in between june july, and durga puja in month of october there And there are many kind of books in our college

Admission

I am a lateral student of Swami vivekananda Institute of science and Technology and i am currently in 4th year CSE so i have given JELET enterence exam for getting admission in this college And the cut of was 15 marks to get computer Science engineering branch and after that I had to submit my admission fees to the college There are many Co-curricular activities held in our college like fest ,sports event, hackathons etc. And the CAs and semister exams were moderate practical classes were good faculties are very talanted But if our college focuss more on extra internships and diffrent types of courcess then it would have been really great

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

This college provides best jobs opportunity for every students buts for internships eligibility is from the 3 year and mainy focus on 4th year students to be part of the internships . Svist review

I have applied in du, gnit and got confirmed seats in du but due to family reasons I didn't make it in du. And in gnit i didn't got a seat in cse department as it was full but it was offering me aiml. Then there was svist which was closed to my house and was providing the course. I haven't scored enough marks to get in nit jadabpur they were offering civil engineering. Admission process was quite easy in this college you just have to pass through counseling....Read More

I also applied GNIT ( GURU NANAK INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY), but I did not took there admission due to study quality, fees.
