The practical part of students of PGIMER is strong from other institutes
The fees is like nil.You only have to give examination fees from second year.
Advance machinary are available in PGIMER

Dislikes

There are no holidays in PGIMER .You can only 30 leave in a year
The schedule is hectic.The department starts at 9:30 am and you leave the department at 5:00 pm
The hostel facilities are not provided to students of paramedics

Course curriculum: Only some theory part of curriculum is available for syllabus . The syllabus is precise and effective The PGIMER mainly focuses on practical part. The lunch break starts at 1:00 pm and ends at 2:00 pm.So before lunch break the students have to go to labs according to their roaster and after lunch there are discussions and classes . 2.)PGIMER really help you to make practical part stronger. 3.)The schedule is really hectic.The theory classes might be before lunch break and practical part after lunch break 4.)Ratings for curriculum:4/5

Fees and Financial Aid

1.)When there is counseling they will take 3000 from you and then there is no fee you have to give to them for your whole year. 2.)The fees is like nil.From 2nd year you only have to give paper fees which is around 1000 3.)Stipend is 500 per month which is provided to you after 3rd semester 4.)For jobs in PGIMER paramedics,you have to give entrance exam

Campus Life

Name of fest:1.)NIPS foundation day in month of October 2.) Zenith in month of December All types of books are available in library The smart boards are available in lecture theatres There is a sport complex in PGIMER We are so much busy with our postings in hospital that we are not that much indulge in campus life.we rarely meet our friends everyday.

Admission

1.)First you have to give entrance exam by name of All India Paramedical Entrance Examination PGIMER 2.)You must be 12th passed or have diploma 3.)The application form is available on the site of PGIMER which is available from around the month of August which fees is around 1500 (not exactly remember) 4.) The question paper is divided into 5 parts which includes physics (20 questions), chemistry (20 questions), biology (20 questions),English(10 questions), General knowledge (10 questions) .It has overall 100 questions.The time given for paper is 1 hour 30 minutes.The difficulty level is average. 5.)The cut off goes for General:95 percentile For OBC :85 percentile For SC and ST:around 75 percentile 6.)Aspects I don't like:Seats are few and they allow many students to come for counseling which gives false hopes and demotivation for them.As well as they don't provide any hostel facilities for paramedics. 7.)The admission process is fast.

College Life : An interesting part of life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a Science student , I loved my curriculum as it provides application parts with laboratories . I choose this course as I always wanted to learn more about science and its various fields. For me overall curriculum is good and have moderate level but I would suggest to reduce the syllabus little bit so that most of the students can learn whole syllabus Exams are being conducted regularly as per the University guidelines.

The curriculum for medical lab science students is different for each student as the lab hours are different for each lab. classes are held in the morning 8-9 am or after 2-5 pm so that it doesn't clashes with lab hours.

Curriculum is prepared well. I chose medical as i was a medical student. Curriculum is prepared in such a wau that it will help you out in the real world too. Improvement is required in the books as some of the books are out dated. Timing of exams are accurate we get enough time to prepare for the exam and difficulty level is moderate.

Inside of PGI chandigarh from bsc nursing point of view.

I had appeared for neet. But as a average student i couldn't make it to be a doctor insted i cracked pgi chandigarh nsc nursing entrance. Pgi chandigarh is very affordable. It provide job as bond is signed during admission, hostel is provided, everything is very affordable here, we have to pay for uniform and that is one time investment. Pgi conduct exam for admission. Pgi chandigarh bsc nursing entrance is the name of exam, it's basically conducted in month of june or july and it is conducted in 4-5 state of north india, it is for females only. Merit list will ne released after the result and student who get their name in list can apply for counseling. Currently there are 89 seats in bsc nursing for 2024 but from 2025 seats will be increased and they will be 128 . Exam is of moderate level. It comprises of biology 20 question. Physics 20 question. Chemistry 20 question. English 20 question. Nursing aptitude 20 question. Paper is conducted in online mode Exam is of 2 hours and 100 questions will be there and +1 for a correct answer and -0. 25 for a wrong answer.
