- Department libraries are accessible to 5'0 clock. This is a little bit disappointing but central libraries are nearby.
Course Curriculum Overview
The area of study is multidisciplinary hence all fields of graduates are welcomed here.This include ecology, environment laws, GIS technologies, statistics, researchers, instrumentation. Hence environmental issues are aggrevating nowadays it's important to study and development these fields. The job opportunities for this field will increase gradually. The course curriculum is more socially and practically oriented apart from the scientific theories. It is an applicable level course with lots spirit for protecting the environment. There are environmental science and Disaster Management, environmental science and management present here. Any graduates can apply who have knowledge about the present day situations, climates changes and environmental changes etc.
Internships Opportunities
Interns and project fellows are selected for various projects in the school. The projects are mainly in the fields of pollution analysis, ecology, environment relations, comparisons on present day ,plants nd animals etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The couse is master's degree and is a duration of two years with four semesters. Each semester has semester fees along with examination fees. Reservations for students in OBC, OEC, SC, and ST are allowed for both education and in hostel facilities.
Campus Life
The labs of the School of Environmental Science have one of the greatest and recognised labs in India with developed equipments and researchers. Various thesises, international conferences etc are conducted in the school. There are celebrations on indian festivals. Various clubs are active all around the university. Department Students Union is extra avlctive for the problems of students. Students can part6in all the activities conducted inside and outside the campus without a second thought. Teachers and authorities are friendly and very supportive for the academics of the student.
Admission
Any graduates are eligible to apply with any degree from certified institutions. The application is completely online and is available in the official site of mgu. Exam registration is usually in the months of March and April. After registering the hall tickets should be downloaded and appear for offline exams as per the date and location in the hall ticket for the applied course. The name of the exam is CAT(Common Admission Test).They publish main rank list after that and mail you if you are selected. The Rank list can be checked on the official site After that a personal interview session is conducted and the final ranklist is published. Admissions are allotted according to that rank list.NCC cadets and reservation categories have additional grace marks added to them. The exam is from 80 marks.The applicant must be interested in environment field and must be an observer and science enthusiast. The application fee is about 1500 Indian rupees per paper.
Interview Experience
A main entrance examination and a personal interview is presents.pI is basically on the field of graduation topics and the exposure of student on the general issues and social environment.The project topic of the student their field of interest are greatly examined in the PI. Basic knowledge on the subjects of ug , their interests in the environment, main entrance mark etc are valuated for the admission process
