What I like about guru ghasidas vishwavidyalaya is that it is very affordable as a middle class students . You can easily afford this campus.
Other thing is environment it's very green here . There are few ponds , here also a temple . Overall environment is v ry good
This campus is clean which I must say. I was staying in hostel in my bachelor's , hostel are also clean , washrooms are clean .

Dislikes

Well in guru ghasidas vishwavidyalaya there is no such thing like placement specially in physical science
In recent time they are cutting trees , which is not good for campus environment
And the last thing is they must raise there standard of examination so we can qualify for NET exam

Course Curriculum Overview

Well , physics is a kind of subject which fascinate you alot . For exams , in single sem there are two Internal , in first internal you have normal exam like other universities and second internal is viva/ presentation and assignments based . And then final exams Overall exam are not that much difficult . There are alot of extra curriculum activities . One can join different clubs

Well iit interships are available . There are many universities like NIT, VIT interships available for students specially in summers and winters . The department staff make sure to inform students about this . All required details is further shared in WhatsApp group . And is needed shared in mails . Our department also conduct seminars , like last week there was seminar conducted by Padma bhusan awardee .

Fees and Financial Aid

Overall fees for masters of physics is only 17000 approx for whole course . There are scholarship schemes available for reserver students , I am general category student I don't know about the process and all Well they will regularly update you for various intership going on like I'm iit and all so intership is okay . But nothing for placement. Course is very very affordable in comparison to other universities

Campus Life

Physical science and many other departments in university conduct annual fest . Other then this they conduct other projects based on severe topics like women improvement . There are several sports and extra curriculum in campus and also in our department . Cricket ,kabadi , kho kho , volleyball , badminton, tug of war kind of sports . There are a lot of clubs one can join , dance , singing , poetry , magazines and many more

Admission

Eligibility is cuet exam is necessary For doing masters in physics you must have taken physics as a subject in graduation Both honours and plan graduation students can apply After qualifying cuet exam one have to apply here , after which there will be councilling offline .

Collages offered placement but I can't join any type of placement. They trained all students for their placement i.e. they perform good in his interview and they got selected. Every year many students selected in different different branches and their poster are shown in campus .

Forensic science department review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has 4 semesters and is divided as follows.. 1st semester has 5 theory and 2 practical (general introduction to forensic science and ciriminology , crime scene management, instrumental analysis in forensic science, forensic biology, and serology ) 2nd sem also has 5 theory subjects and 2 practicals. Meanwhile syllabus for 3rd and 4th semester has not been provided. The teaching method is traditional chalk and talk . The semester has 2 CTS and finals at the end of 6 months .

cource are all over good . but the faculties are needed to improve the teaching methods and start giving us hands on experience to get industry ready. exams are held after every 3-4 months including two internals and one end semester exam.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students become eligible for placements. There are many placement drives happening in college each month. As there are engineering departments here so there are no lack of placement drives. I have plan to clear UGC net exam to get into lectureship.

Remarks:

It is a very good university in Chhattisgarh. As it is a central university, so there are many facilities like a university bus, an International conference, etc. Teachers are very helpful. The University campus is also very good.

It's Location since it is located in Bilaspur and High court of Chhattisgarh is itself located here so internship and legal experience will be maximized. I got confirmed application in other Central University of different states but since I am from Chhattisgarh so I took this university and also I got admission to top state colleges of my state, but I prefer this university or state because it is central, for entering into this college you have to give exam and you can go through josa counselling or sees have counselling, you have to be 12th pass and for josa 75% is required in 12th, hot general category the cut off is 85% tile....Read More
