Campus life- one the place called oat(open area theatre) is one of my favourite place

Course curriculum is outstanding it mainly focused on solving real world problem as the course following computer applications the subject like os,DBMS,data structure..etc are mostly in gain pratical knowledge

Placement Experience

This is one of the best reason for any one to admission in this institution and also this the reason for me to admission here ,due to it provided 100% placement since last 3 years in specially mca course with average package 11 lpa and median 10.5 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

Approx 35k tuition fee per semester,for this course only one scholarship provided known as national scholarship for pg students except that no other scholarship are present ,as it is nit so obviously campus is very good there are many places for chilling and hangout with friends

Campus Life

As I mentioned previously that it is a NIT so campus life is awesome the infrastructure of college is outstanding ,there are many places are here in this campus for enjoying with friends,and seniors are very helpful,there are so many canteens in this campus

Hostel Facilities

Hostel single seater is 10k and double seater is 8.5k per semester and I would say mess is not that much good I would say it is decent and only veg available here ,the test is decent and any one can get hostel easily there are 11 boys hostel and 7 girls hostel

Hostel Fee: INR 10000 per year

Admission

Admission is based on one of the entrance exam call NIMCET,for open catagory cutoff approx 300 all India rank,it varries with other catagory. i would say it was moderate level exam based on math matics and reasoning and computer knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is designed to teach the basic and fundamental subjects of computer science to students. In each subject, the difficulty level is below moderate. There are some subjects which meet the industry standards and prepare students for jobs in market. But many subjects are out-dated and their syllabus is not upto standard mark of industry requirements. There is an urgent need to update the syllabus and make it more industry demands-oriented. The teaching methods used are good but some updates can make them more better. Less focus is given on practical knowledge and labs. In each semester, you will have sessional exams two times for all 5 subjects. In each year, there are two semesters and in each semester you will havee final exams in the month of December and May.

i chose NIT Kurukshetra mainly because it's close to my home town and is considered one of the reputed colleges in Haryana. Compared to other NIT's like NIT Jalandhar snd SVNIT Surat, NIT Kurukshetra has a more competitive cutoff, which shows how sought after it is, especially due to its location near Delhi. Reality of NIT kurukshetra

I took this college because the nit kurukshetra is one of top college in India for engeenering. I also applied dtu and i also get it in but not cs breach which is my priority. I also want to go iit but i am able to qualified the jee advance. NIT KURUKSHETRA: An Honest Review

The key reason for my choice of NIT KKR college was it has affordable fee structure , good campus cirriculum. Admissions are based on JEE Mains, followed by JOSAA/CSAB counselling. Candidates must have at least 75% in class 12 or be in top 20 percentile of their board. Cutoff and Seat Allocation:- General category:-For cs/it candidate rank must be in 5k-10k. Other branches require less ranking. OBC/EWS/SC/ST : Lower rank benefits due to reservation quota. There is female quota too just to increase boys:girls ratio in engineering colleges. There is state reservation of 50% in all NIT's. Admission Process:- JOSAA counselling:-Students list their prefernces based on JEE rank, and seats are allocated accordingly.
