Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very basic not very helpful in real world in my opinion i chose this college just because it was near my place not because of its curriculum its not that bad just as same as other tier 3 colleges. They do have extra value added courses each sem which are helpful which are mandatory to pass so everyone has to do it seriously the college is overall very strict so that does help for certain students to study as their is no as such criteria for admission here so the students here dont really care about studying but because of the strictness they do learn somewhat. Timing of exams and frequency is okayish as they keep us engaged with all the assignments and tests but yeah i do get time for self study so its balanced.
Internships Opportunities
There are some summer internship opportunities overseas . The college has tie up with some of the companies but they don't provide interenships on the basis of merit we ll have to pay them so its not exactly a good "internship opportunity " there other courses by wipro and infosys which claim to provide internships after completing their paid course I haven't tried any
Fees and Financial Aid
Annual tuition fee - 144000 , annual development fee - 36000, first sem fee - 90000, one time fee - 12580, registration fee- 1700 Scholarship for graduation marks above 60% or above cgpa 6.0 is 25000 Cuet-pg score 200 or nimcet rank upto 600 then 30% slabs
Campus Life
There's this fest called momentum which is held every year in October or November its not very great like other college's fest but yeah okayish i didn't attend it because it didn't seem fun and it wasa good decision:) books and journals in the library are great there's huge variety the library is quite huge. Technology provision in classrooms is also great they have good comfortable seats a projector whiteboards and acs in every room and tgere are many classrooms the infrastructure is great very morden looking also. There are many student run clubs and societies to join I tried joining them but they are mostly run by bachelor's students so they dont really accept master's students as they are younger than us. There is ample amount of opportunity for sports we have badminton volleyball basketball courts and a football ground and also a cricket pitch sports event keep happening there intercollege also we can also use them whenever we want so yeah thats great
Admission
I applied only to direct admission colleges i didn't really apply to any but yeah considered the ones near my place like kr manglam and gd goenka, i also thought about amity or bennet which are in noida but i didn't apply to them as they were far and gd goenka and kr manglam were charging more fees . Northcap was the cheapest and the nearest so i applied to this college only. I just filled the admissions form online paid the fees and got admitted as i said its a direct admission college so they take in just anybody but still my class's strength is only 27 lol not a very good college overall but the cheapest sooo. But if anyone can pay extra then i would suggest amity over it . Its better in study aspect in all delhi ncr
Faculty
Student to faculty ratio is good i guess they are approachable and very helpful they keep students engaged very well and help us really grow. I like Shilpa Mahajan who my current cyber security professor in second sem shes very chill with students and isnt very strict unlike every other teacher she teaches properly but doesn't keep nagging us. I dont like certain professors as i feel tgey are a little judgmental of the students they have some preconceived notions about certain people and treat them differently especially nidhi malik who is coordinator for mca and doesn't teach properly and keeps shouting unnecessarily. Exams are quite easy the curriculum is very basic not very hard in my opinion i just study a day before my exams and score well i got 8.2 cgpa in my first sem we have to do assignments the whole sem some projects which account for 10% marks for the course and minor exams with 30% of syllabus account for 20% and then just before major exams we have to give viva and quizes also lab mannual submission which is counted as internal marks only and the major exams at end of sem account for 70% exams
Night Life
There's no hostel of our college as not many students join from very far but for a few who do they have two three pgs around the college i guess they are privately owned and the college doesn't provide any sort of accommodation so there's no college life as such at night as everybody returns to their home after classes they do have cafeteria and gym on the campus if anyone wants to join after college we are allowed to join that I haven't tried it. Cafeteria is good the food is eatable i would say there's this another place on campus by nescafe its a nescafe cart they provide good food.
