Likes
- There is no dress restriction. If you want to wear hijab, you can wear it and yes, if you do not look good then it is compulsory for you to wear a shirt.
- Some teachers are very helpful, like one Nelotpal sir, they help the students a lot, they want the students to learn the rest.
Dislikes
- Hindi is not given any special priority in this college. Mostly the classes are conducted in Bengali language.
- Here only our own festivals are given priority. Festivals of any other state do not get that much priority nor are there any holidays. The date of the festival is affected. Even Independence Day and Republic Day are not celebrated here.
- Placement is absolutely zero, when tech students are given call people and sales people are referred, and if you complain to the teacher that you are not getting placement, then they hold a meeting and nothing else.
Course Curriculum Overview
MCA = 9 out of 10 because placement issue. *. No doubt course is very good, but depends on college teaching process. * The problem with this course is that it is not based on current real world situation * In this i want to improve so that only those are taught which are useful to us in the company. * Their is no difficulty level in exam.What is taught in the class comes in the exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
* College fees also depend on percentage, I had 81% in graduation and my fees were 100% scholarship. * Course fee is Rs 245000 but I got 100% scholarship so I had to pay only Rs 90600. * Many Bengal scholarships are also available here, I also get that scholarship and the college also releases its own percentage wise every year on scholarship.There is no financial aid in this college, if you are not able to pay it then they take admission on EMI basis and also on credit card or loan basis. * Neither did he get any job nor through scholarship, nor did he get any stipends nor did he get any internship, till now even the company does not come to this college.Only perfer B.tech.
Campus Life
* There is a college festival Foundation Day in this college which is on 22nd February and it is very boring. * The books which are referred to us by the teacher in the class are available in the library, but if someone wants to take the book which we have to read, then the possibility of it is very less but most probably it is available in the library. * There is no facility, only table and chair and according to the humidity here, there is no such Ac in the class, although at the time of admission they say that every class have Ac connection. the position of the class is just fine. * There is no club or social group.Students from other states will not be able to survive here. They will have to face a lot of problems. Students feel cornered.
Admission
* Admission is going smoothly, their is no cut- off, YOU can take directly admission in this college. * B.COM, BCA,BBA are eligible. * You can call directly to the college and he/she wil co-ordinate in proper way. * Their is no reservations * Exam timing is too odd their is no proper fixed date we are very struggling in exam time. Question is Not too difficult avg if you studying. * As i said admission process is very smooth but lies a lot about college placement
