My intrest in mathematics allowed me to choose this course The curriculum prepares the student for real life application by using topics as statistics and probability with the software like Ms Excel and Mathematica The faculty is very friendly and engaging The exams are conducted at the end of the semester and in a year exams are held 2 times

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 25500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

My 1st year fees was rs 24665 and my second year fees was rs 25550 and there are no such hikes just mininal incriment Fees waivers are provided to students who need finicial aid and scholarships is given on the basis of there academic achievements

Campus Life

There are a large number of clubs and societies in my college and the exposure and the experience we get from these are unmatched. One can join society of there likes and interests . The library is pretty well maintained with books covering our syllabus and other helpful books Our college also offers many different sports like football, basketball, badminton,talble tennis,archery,shooting and gym also.

Admission

Any student is eligible for the course if they have given the cuet exam with maths and English subjects All details regarding application form and fees are on delhi University website Sc students can avail they benefits by applying with sc certificate It is conducted every year after the 12th board exam it is of moderate difficulty The exam is mainly on conceptual basis

A college review full of pros and cons

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core subjects are very well divided, the main problem arises with the other additional subjects which requires efforts as same as the other subject even though they don't hold any importance as such. Maybe reducing other subject or making them practical based instead of theory based would be helpful.

Though i think maths is a great subject as it is what gives birth to every field but within course it self its all theory and pure maths i thing real application would be appreciated we do have practical for 1 subject each sem thats it should he more.

The Life of A DRC student

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are moderate as the average package is ?6.5 lakhs and the highest package is around ?23.02 lakhs . Many prestigious companies like delloite, accenture have held various placement sessions in DRC and it's overall a good to place for companies to get high skilled students. The placement cell is very active too which makes it possible for our college to get many internships and placements opportunities.

i think it's very outdated and not of any practical use unless you go for research and scientific fields of science. it does not prepare much for the real world and current market but teaches about biology and chemistry which helps sometimes. the frequency if exam is fine.

Campus Life:

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

KMC- Path to learn and grow

Placement Experience:

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.

I applied for CUET and Hindu College though was my first choice as even though SRCC is top ranked, my choice was Hindu College first and then HRC.
