Nit uttarakhand is good if you can compromise on campus.

I like coding because of which I wanted to do computer science and engineering. I like that we have C programming in first year. The curriculum is good and I think it makes you job ready you just hve to put some little bit extra efforts. We have 3 exams in one semester which means 6 exams per year.

We have many intership opportunity available in our campus. Phd students get stipend for teaching first year students . Other than that top 3 students of batch can go to iit for their interships also.

Placements are good with average package of 11lpa and highest package of 21lpa also the lowest package was around 5lpa. Around 84 percent students were placed during 2023 placement season. I think I will prepare for gate after my degree.

Fee is not that much as it is nit you can check fee details on nituk official site also it will be around 8 lakh including everything for 4 years. Other that it also have good scholarship. Your tution fee is relaxed according to your parents income other than that u can also apple for different scholarships. If you are phd student you also get stipends for teaching first year students.

We have Proydigeek fest around February and March every year . But it was on pause because of covid. Different books are available in library but the library is not that big. Classes are like school classes with old projectors . Not much sports facilities are available in our campus due to small size of our campus. Our seniors also run different clubs including cultural club, photography club, etc.

Hotel facilities are below average . I would like to highlight that specially toilets are in very bad condition. Mess food is also below average but the menu contains many different dishes. You have to register for hostel during admission process. Hostel are pretty affordable also.

I took admission in nit uttarakhand through jee mains I got 98.2 percentile in jee mains. You can appear for jee mains 2 times a year. Then you have to participate in josaa and csab councelling. That is how I got admission in nit uttarakhand. I didn't had any reservation so jee mains application form was 2000 ruppes for me.
